My son always played playstation. The performance and games I play are beautiful. Thanks to Best Buy employees I had all my first questions answered. Between them and my son; I am progressing slowly but steady. Highly recommend this unit and the xbox games.

The image quality is steps ahead of what my old system was (Xbox One Elite). I have to say just in the boot-up time saved alone made this purchase worth it. I used the blu-ray player on it and my GF noticed that the picture was even better than our stand alone blu-ray player. I just wish it came with 2 TB installed as a standard. I like the expansion of it, but 2 TB would be amazing!

Note in order to get the maximum from this console you will need a monitor or oled tv with at least 120Hz and good 4k to 8k capabilities to truly appreciate what is for. Also take on to consideration all the updates you will need when setting up your xbox as well as the xbox app account.

It's quiet, heavier than it looks, and most games look great. I would say it doesn't have as many "next gen" features (aside from the tech) as the PS5, many the 3D audio and adaptive controllers. The interface is too busy and crowded, but it's a good system.
