I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The difference in load speeds is drastically noticeable, it holds much more space (my One was 500GB), and the games look beautiful on my TV. My only gripe would be that my TV doesn’t support hdmi 2.1, which is what’s needed to get 120hz, but it’s still an amazing picture quality. The upgrade process was quick and easy. I moved all my games to an external drive and loaded them from the drive to the Series X, and the rest of the upgrade process was handled by my Microsoft login.

I already own a xbox360, Xbox one, ps4 pro, and i went back and forth whether to get the Xbox x-series or the PS5 first. I decided that i enjoyed the Forza series enough to pick up the x-series. The set up was easy of course. Having an Xbox account made the transition seamless and all my games and history transferred over without any effort.

What I can say is that the hardware is great. Packaging feels premium and the console is "sturdy" in any position. Setup is super easy and can be done primarily from the Xbox app on your phone. The OS is fast, and has fantastic quality of life features like quick resume.

I upgraded from a series S and the difference is profound in resolution textures and refresh rate. Form factor took some getting used to but it’s just different not wildly oversized like a ps5.
