Still takes to long to load games. Even from a disk.

Some features such a quick resume only work some of the time.

Not enough new games yet but like the bluray player

Really frustrating that when your controller batteries die you have to turn off the console to make the controller connect again.. also won’t run NBA 2K next gen without the console overheating and turning itself off.

This is the best console available. Games look and run better on the series x. Xbox consoles are also the only consoles with backwards compatibility where you can play many old games and in many cases it’s the only way legal way of play certain games with the added benefit of some of those games having improvements in graphics/visuals and performance. Quick resume is also a game changer since it allows to seemlessly transition from one game to another without having to boot up the game from scratch, a feature only available on the xbox. Also gamepass, best gaming service available by far(there’s absolutely nothing like it).

Good system, it just has no games at all and terrible UI

The system has many bugs. Some of the initial issues seen is that it periodically reboots, sometimes it shuts itself down in the middle of a game, when first starting the console it doesn't allow the controller to connect, on occasion it disconnects its connection to WiFi and then wont reconnect. To resolve all of these issues, I have had to do a hard restart by physically unplugging the unit. Sometimes it has had to be done multiple times throughout a single gaming session. Very Frustrating to say the least.

I own every xbox console made. This one is ridiculously quiet and looks great. Never had any issues [well other than red rings with the earliest consoles] and my xbox series s and series x had constant controller disconnects. This hapoens with brand new controllers. Frustrating as CoD Vanguard and Forza Horizon 5 are challenging to win online when you controllers malfunction. Also have experienced crashes back to home screen way more than prior consoles. 4k 120hz via hdmi 2.1 is slick when things arent crashing or disconnecting. You might skip this covid console generation. Our gaming pc has literally no issues and if you can get a geforce 3070 youll be happier there.

Runs fast but not that much of an upgrade from Xbox one x

It's an x box. It's a pain in the butt, causes chronic conflict in my house, and the money driven company makes you replace games and purchase multiple subscriptions for 2 people to play in the same house and prevents my kids from learning any self discipline at all. If you like losing yourself in a video game for hours and hours and shut out everyone you know, this is the machine for you.
