Recently send it in to microsoft to repair and they sent me a recertified one which is now working great but it took 2 weeks total.

I load up Cold War and my controller disconnects 8/10 times then it disconnects me from Xbox live making me restart the whole unit by unplugging it. If you wanna play Cold War on this thing good luck! First you need to disabled some graphic settings in order to play without it stuttering, second you need to deal with your controller disconnecting a bunch of times as I’ve heard others have the same issues. Another is the game crashing at random times. Have played Dead Island Riptide and it’s the same bull crap, controller disconnecting. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend it. Don’t know if my unit just happened to be a defected one or not but right now this is my view on experience of owning a series x for 2-4 months.

Only complaint at the moment is that the controller doesn’t sync back with the console after it goes to sleep and the only way to get the controller to sync back is by unplugging the system. Also, the UI is the same as the Xbox One.

If it seems like this is happening with certain games, we recommend dropping the resolution from 4K to 1080p and disabling ray tracing until a fix is found.
