Just setting it up and downloading a few games for my son, I could really notice the download speed and performance upgrades. Does not run hot so far it has been running terratech in 4K hdr for about half hour.

It is definitely an upgrade to other systems. The graphics are great. The playability is great. And it is easy to set up. The question is always Xbox vs PlayStation. Well, if you are in to Microsoft products, then this is the system for you. A+

No issues so far, immeduate performance improvmenrs on current games and Destiny 2 after the uodate runs in 4K 60FPS and it is game changing. If you have the cash uograde from your xbox one or one x.

Still Great a Year and a Half Later

Not only do games look great on it, the minor touches added to the controller make this setup nearly perfect. The dashboard revamp is a welcome improvement over the Xbox One and after signing up for a trial of GamePass I am really hooked now!

They could have upgraded the controller more but it is what it is. If you are looking for something familiar and are use to the XBOX, get one. If you are looking for a total upgrade, maybe try to get the PS5.

PROs: Very fast "Quick Resume" feature Supports up to 8K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate Xbox Game Pass offers a stunning level of value An SSD speeds up load times HDMI 2.1 out Backward-compatible games Adds HDR to older games 120Hz modes for smoother gameplay Blu-ray player and lots of apps Almost silent operation CONs: Expensive Few titles use ray tracing right now Non-removable stand looks weird horizontally Loses the optical audio output User interface remains cluttered No exclusive games THAT SAID - and while I could gripe more on the Tiles UI that the xbox has which seem *dated* nowadays - its menu system is clunky - and lacks in a lot of areas and Im not a big fan of the xbox UI but I'd give this console the thumbs up - however it is a bit pricey.
