I used to think that the loading pauses in some games was due to internet speed lag, but after my speed was cranked up to 1.2G per second I realized it definitely wasn't internet lag. As soon as I tried this new machine the loading pauses disappeared and game play never slowed down. I recommend this unit to anyone that is still on the fence about buying one. You won't be disappointed.

Worked great straight out of the package. With the size of games now a days I somewhat worry about storage space but always have the option to purchase and external storage. The controller was obviously the basic one and would recommend upgrading to something like the Elite II if you are gaming often or want the best performance.

I use it in about the same way as I did with my xbox one x. I haven't gotten to play any true next gen games yet but I have run games like syndicate and red dead 2 and I can say the load times are much quicker. The system is pretty quiet with the exception of discs in which you hear the player running. I was a bit alarmed when installing a disc because it made a loud grinding noise. This may be because I have it in the vertical position. Also, the system seems to run cool. I do like the vents and fan at the top. Other than these, I think it's a great console.
