But the main thing i love is the fact i can play my childhood games from the original xbox & the xbox 360 on the Xbox series X just by either downloading it or simply inserting the disc. Backwards compatibility is the main reason I bought it!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.eeeeehhh ; i have a love-hate for this console , it does have a lot of muscle BUT - i have it set up in a low light room and all the BRIGHT white lights emanating from the console and the controller causes me a lot of eye strain , so i have had to cover up the white lights ; the series X controller SUUUUCKS !!! ; i much prefer the xbox one controllers ; some "genius" for the series X controller had the bright idea to but the share/capture button right under two other buttons ; so when you are going for one or the other of those two buttons , most of the time you hit the share/capture button and by the time you are able to clear the screen - your dead !! ; so i have to disable the button COMPLETELY ; i jam it under the controller casing and then super glue it in place and it works fine - so dont buy any extended warranty on these things if you plan to do this because it will violate the warranty ; so for now on , so long as i can buy xbox one controllers - i will !

And thought about a change so i hooked him up with a brand new Xbox. Was super happy to see his smile light up. Def worth it. He tells me that it runs way much faster than his old one (even when it was new)

Went from a series S to the series X and the quality of the video output is so much clearer. Also runs smoother, quieter, and faster. Definitely plan on keeping this for a while

The Best Video Game Console, Period .

I didn't feel completely satisfied with the system. The Xbox GamePass system is the biggest factor why I chose to go to the Series X, First Party Games available Day One, plus a ton of titles, the best multiplayer service and so many events and discounts and other promotions too. The system itself doesn't dominate my tv counter, it's almost dead quiet whereas the pS5 had some noise (but still nothing like the jumbo jet PS4 Pro ). I didn't;t get the same sense of belonging to a gaming community on the pS5 at all, and the company doesn't help by raising prices on games and services without a scent of human touch . Having to literally perform surgery to expand the the internal memory on the pS5 is a pain, while on the Seies X you just plug in a Seagate or WD memory cad. To me, the Xbox Series X is the best video game console I've ever had, and I won't be going back to Playstation ever again.
