Something I'm most impressed with however is the ecosystem that Microsoft has built within their Xbox brand, and with the pending acquisition of Bethesda, and their rampant studio purchases of the past, the first party drought should be coming to an end.

At first I somewhat believed that the Xbox One X still had those capabilities to push the boundaries graphically and performance. Wow, there is a great different between the two. If you’re contemplating getting the series X I say DO IT! Don’t settle for the series S, wait for the Series X you won’t be disappointed.

Game Resume is awesome. Can't wait to see what happens when the developers start building games specifically for this gen.

But this time for the wifey as an early Christmas present. As for the series x. We’ve had no complaints here. Works as advertised. Super smooth like butter. Especially on a 4k tv.

MS doesn’t even have to try to win the console wars at this point. Their infrastructure is what gives them all the advantage that they need. Sony will only ever dream of having that type of back end support.

The console is incredible but they are not built to be easily repaired. I would personally encourage you to add the $70 for the 2 yr service plan.

I wanted to try this thing out to get a taste of the new generation of consoles. I perhaps obviously prefer to game on PC but it's become a tradition to buy the new consoles. I was lucky enough to pre-order my system and have enjoyed it thus far. This is as close as you can get to PC level gaming without buying a pc. Microsoft did a great job and I'm quite satisfied with my purchase though I can only wonder if the next generation of consoles will reach the performance of current (or even former for that matter) PC, We've been playing games in 4k on PC since 4k tv's came to market years ago, so although I enjoy the product, I'd have hoped for a little more by way of innovation such as the way Sony has done with the dual sense controller.

And then there's Game Pass?! PS Plus has nothing on Game Pass. That's it's Xbox won this generation in my book!
