I'm a huge Sony fan. I’ve never owned an Xbox, never imagined I would. It fill took advantage of my Samsung Q90T’s features while my PS5 was waiting on an update. Game Pass puts it above the PS5. I preloaded MLB the Show 21 and started playing as soon as it realeased. I did the same for Outriders. The PS5 wants $70 for each title. I don’t know what tricks Sony has up their sleeves but Microsoft is coming strong. PAUSE.

Great console. Fast and powerful. Gamepass is a great deal, but it needs more exclusives to take advantage of what it’s capable of. Great thing that when the exclusives start showing, they’ll be on gamepass and you won’t have to be spending 60 to 70 dollars on brand new games. I’m still scratching my head that the controller doesn’t come with a rechargeable battery pack; sure it’s nice to give us the option of using regular batteries but might as well include a chargeable battery pack. I know the argument is that there are “no games(exclusives)” for it right now but like I said, Game Pass is a great value to play many games like the ones available at the moment like Dragon Quest 11 S, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, All Gears (with Gears 5 series X update at 120 FPS and 4K, all Halo games, Sea of Thieves, all Fables, Forza Horizon 4, Doom Eternal, Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, certain Final Fantasy games including 15 with all/most DLC, Rare Replay, Control, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, both Ori Games, all Kingdom Hearts games, Injustice 2, The Outer Worlds, Nier Automata: Beckme as god edition, Code Vein, No Man’s Sky, Quantum Break, Resident Evil 7, The Witcher 3, Tales of Vasperia, Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls online and more including their upcoming exclusive The Medium. Just goes to show how much access you have for 9.99 a month or 14.99 for Ultimate Game Pass. Best value to play games on when it comes to consoles. Personally, I’m not psyched about some games costing 69.99 plus tax; so I know I’ll be taking advantage The service Xbox provides on a more powerful and faster console.

The Series X provides a fantastic gaming experience. I love the form factor, it is so quiet, the picture is beautiful, and it is SO FAST. I have played Sea of Thieves on both Xbox and PC (both the Xbox and Steam versions), and my load times are now the same (and sometimes faster) than my PC load times. Very happy with the purchase and find myself enjoying couch gaming more than I did with my Xbox One X.

Incredible machine. Looks like the monolith from 2001, thicker then most baes, but is much more shallow then her pervious version. After playing games in 4K 60 FPS and now some in 120fps, I’m like PS5!? What’s that? Only downside is the controller doesn’t have any cool updates like the DualSense 5 does. But with access to game pass and now cloud gaming, there is no comparison. Xbox Series X is the winner this gen!

I'm coming from an Xbox One X Scorpio. Big difference right away with the solid state drive, 120 frames per second sinking perfectly on my Samsung QLED. Games load quickly, graphics are brilliant and sharp. Gameplay is very smooth with very minimal lag. Most of that would come down to your internet and network hardware, as well as your display type. I chose to use the Game Pass Ultimate and I'm enjoying it so far. A bunch of games to choose from that you can play at any time. Play directly from the cloud or install them locally to the hard drive. The system blends perfectly with all of the components I have in my audio / video system. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like the PlayStation 5. I lay mine on its side. Regardless of how you position it, make sure you give it plenty of room to breathe. Mine runs cool as there are no obstructions near the fan vents.

The Xbox Series X is everything I hoped for and more. Super fast load times, smooth gameplay, and the graphics are incredible—it really shows off what next-gen is supposed to be. Setup was quick and easy, the system runs quietly, and Game Pass makes it even better with so many games ready to play right away. Definitely worth the upgrade!

I have been an Xbox junky since 2005… was disappointed when I bought Boarderlands 4 and didn’t realize I needed to upgrade. So glad I did, I love the quality of playing on this and how everything is easier.

An AMAZING next generation console. I have the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. The Xbox Series X outshine both of them. It is definitely larger and heavier than the prior versions. Setting up the Series X was a breeze with the Xbox App. Literally took me 5 minutes to copy the One X to the Series X. The longest update download was for the Series controller, but with fiberoptic internet, it was not too bad. The controller is fairly similar to the Xbox one controllers. Just minor differences but if you use rechargeable batteries and controller craddle, the battery cover of the Series X is different from the One X or One S. So you can't use the battery cover of your old system. Also, the grip feels better in the Series version, which helps when you are playing any type of video games. I have been playing Madden 21 "Franchise mode" on the Xbox One X for 13 seasons now. I just moved to the Xbox Series X version and WOW!!!!! The graphics are so much improved and provides others views of the fans and stadium. The Next Gen Stats is pretty cool too! Booting the game up is much quicker. Just be warned that Madden 21 will need almost 50GB of updates to play on the Series X. Luckily have have two HDD with a total of 9TB connected to the Series X. Sound is AWESOME with this consolue. I hear more details within the game. As this being large, I had to put it on its side under my entertainment stand. I did not want to put it behind my 65" Sony.

The Xbox Series X is definately living up to the hype. Quick resume is the coolest thing ever. I am blown away every time a game loads up, its lightning fast. The graphics are crisp and clean. No choppy framerates, smooth vivid gameplay on every title I own (mostly shooters). I cannot express how pleased I am with this purchase. Series X has exceded my expectations in every way.

Ordered online during Christmas time, they were out of stock but came just in time for my son to enjoy it on Christmas day. It was on sale too. XBOX is quiet when downloading games and never runs hot, love the shape and blends in well in our coputer/gaming room desk compared to the ps5 slim.

This Xbox is a very nice upgrade from my original Xbox One S and feels much more powerful and I like the design. It has a familiar feeling which might not please everyone for being a next gen console but I think it works well due to it already having a good enough UI and menus to navigate. The speed of loading games is blazing fast and games look really good on maximum settings. It has not a lot of exclusive games which is a bummer and if you already have a PC I would recomment the PS5 since you can already get Game Pass on there, one of the main attractions of the Xbox. The Xbox also is very quiet even after playing 4-5 hours straight of Cyberpunk, which runs well on the system. Same software, better hardware, overall an upgrade but until next gen exclusives from the likes of Bethesda, Obsidian, and other studios come in you might want to wait awhile for more Xbox’s to be in stock and have more value.

More Than a Console – A Bond Between Father and So

When I bought the Xbox Series X, I thought I was just getting the latest and greatest gaming console. What I didn’t expect was how it would bring me and my son closer than ever. My son and I have always had a good relationship, but between work, school, and life in general, we were starting to drift into our separate routines. I wanted something we could share—something that wasn’t forced or scheduled, just a way to enjoy each other’s company again. That’s when the Xbox Series X came into our lives. From the moment we unboxed it together, it became more than just a gaming system. We stayed up late setting it up, exploring Game Pass, and picking out our first games. The joy on his face when we played Forza Horizon, the teamwork in Halo Infinite, the laughter during Minecraft—those are moments I’ll never forget. It’s become our evening ritual—an hour or two of gaming side by side, talking, strategizing, and simply enjoying being together. I’ve learned more about what’s on his mind during these sessions than in a dozen car rides or dinner table talks. The Xbox Series X gave us the gift of time together, and in today’s world, that’s priceless. It’s not just a powerful machine—it’s a bridge between generations, a source of connection, and something I’ll always be grateful for. If you're a parent considering this console, don’t just think of the specs or the games—think of the memories you’ll create. Because that’s the real win.

Next gen isn't all about graphics, it's the overall experience and performance. This system is so much faster than the previous gen. Games load in a snap and run at 60+ fps. When the old generation was shooting for 30 fps, this is quite a difference. I do wish it had more storage but you just can't beat the performance for the price! PC can't touch this for the value.

Console has had a rocky start with some issues so far, but it's sounding more and more like optimization with particular games. All in all, been smooth with everything else, especially playing older games. Hopefully a patch should correct issues soon enough. I'm also not as concerned as the One X had similar issues when I received at launch (games would freeze in game, and hard reset the system). That was eventually fixed and I didn't experience it any longer with the One X. Now, I've only experienced this playing enhanced games, like Call of Duty. It has become less frequent, but still just something to take note of. Haven't had this issue with any other applications or games that weren't optimized (or Xbox one titles). The UI is basically identical to that of the One X, and runs very smooth. Dynamic backgrounds, as well as some other customization features are also welcome. Controller is also very nice that it comes with, although the stream button between the Start and Select icons can be easy to hit when playing games. Another bonus if you're coming from a previous Xbox such as myself, is that all your accessories will work on the new Xbox. I have used previous controllers, hooked up my external hard drive (was a Samsung 3TB), and obviously the games will crossover onto this from previous. Overall, the console is fantastic, and from the optimized games I've seen so far, it has serious power and potential. I'm a bit bias since I'm coming from Xbox previously, but it's a great system all around.

Ok imma start off by saying I didnt need to rush to get this system because obviously it doesnt have any exclusives out but I learned to love this console as soon as I got it. The loading is ridiculous! Upscaling xbox one games looks amazing gears of war 5 runs 120 frames and its smooth as butter. You load into the lobby about a good 15-20 before everyone else that's on xbox one. I love it so far super quiet also

You already know the deal it’s the most powerful gaming console on the market yet lackluster next gen title releases and incomplete support networks for backwards compatibility, third party titles and the entire Xbox live hold it back from being the generation dominating machine of previous generations. Hopefully this next coming year of games and OS updated can slowly turn the tides and return Xbox to its former glory. Oh and for me my controllers consistently experienced sticky triggers on the right side that did not exist on the last generations Xbox one which has caused me to buy nearly a dozen controllers over the 3 years I’ve had it which is ridiculous.

Microsoft nailed it! This console is FAST! From the time when you power it up to when you're on the dashboard and able to load a game is 4-5 seconds. Games load fast - a very noticeable improvement from the previous generation and switching between them is quick. The console is quiet and definitely feels more refined than the previous console. Very impressed and I'm loving this console.
