This was to replace the Xbox One X that I rarely used because I prefer the PS4 (now PS5) controller. Here's the thing, though. While this is a more capable system, quiet, and it's awesome that it's backwards compatible, it's not the best. My One X crashed exactly zero times playing Ori and the Blind Forest. My Series X crashed 20 times before I stopped counting. The gameplay wasn't smoother, the graphics weren't so good my heart stopped, and the system didn't load that much faster. A simple SSD improvement is all you're getting here. Subjectively, this system is ugly as sin. The One X looked beautiful on my entertainment center, the rectangular box look of this one makes me sad. To be fair, though, it's the same with the PS5. They both were designed solely to be vertical, but that's not how the vast majority of entertainment centers are designed, is it?

We're glad that you're enjoying its faster performance and backward compatibility features, but sorry to hear that it has missed the mark in other areas. If it doesn't currently fit into your entertainment center vertically, you may store it on its side horizontally as long as it's placed in a well-ventilated spot.

Tried both weird and wireless same result.
