The output is powerful but it is essentially just a rehash of the previous. Worth getting if you love Xbox. Also worth holding off on getting until more games are out.

That said, the performance isn't up to par to (as per reviews) to the PS5.

GamePass is nice but it's not free and these are games you can play just as well on PC, PS5 or the Nintendo Switch. Even now in 2023 when I'm writing this there are no compelling exclusives making this a wise purchase. Microsoft has truly lost its way :(

Have tested the Series X and the PS5 for about 4 months now. As a lifelong gamer, my honest opinion is that it shouldn’t be more than $399.

I’m a little disappointed with the proprietary storage feature that doesn’t allow for a previous Xbox certified external ssd to store certain games.
