Lots of possible things to do on this bad boy! I recommend looking up ways to enable dev mode to use retroarch. To play all your classic games through. 4K resolution is good. 120 FPS isnt common for most of the good games. You can play many XBOX, XBOX 360, and XBOX ONE games through backward compatibility at a better resolution and FPS boost. As a PlayStation fan, I would recommend the XBOX for its multiplayer games. Single games are alright

This is a great console to play your Xbox One, and backwards compatible 360 and OG Xbox games (often with enhancements).

Series x not quite necessary YET!

The series x’s backwards compatibility was what drew me in. The line up of new games exclusively for series x is virtually nonexistent, game pass is a great idea to have. If you are looking for a “WOW” factor, then hold off on purchasing. If you’re like me and wish to consolidate everything from original Xbox to current library of games, then it is well worth the purchase.

    Best Console

Best console I’ve had yet. Switched to Xbox after being a loyal PlayStation fan, and I’m glad I made the switch. Xbox GamePass has the entire family enjoying games due to game offering that appeal to everyone. This console also has very good cooling system. It may not be as sleek as the PS5, but the cooling system allows for much better airflow compared to PlayStations case designs. I went from a ps4 Pro sounding like a small jet running in my living room to a silent running Xbox console.

The Xbox Series X is arguably one of the worst purchases in gaming history, primarily due to its lack of innovation, poor value proposition, and underwhelming performance in several key areas. Despite being marketed as a powerhouse console, it offers minimal upgrades compared to the previous generation, particularly when compared to its competitors like the PlayStation 5. The console's design is bulky and uninspired, offering no significant aesthetic or functional improvement over the Xbox One. While it boasts impressive technical specs, such as faster load times and enhanced graphics, the difference in real-world gameplay is often negligible. Many of the console's features, like Quick Resume, aren't universally supported by all games, leaving users with inconsistent performance. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass is a decent service, but it can't compensate for the lack of exclusive titles that truly leverage the power of the Series X. The backwards compatibility, while a nice touch, feels like a band-aid solution to a problem that shouldn't exist, and the console’s reliance on streaming and cloud-based services does little to differentiate it from earlier models. Ultimately, with a high price tag and no groundbreaking innovations to justify it, the Xbox Series X feels like a misstep in an industry that’s increasingly demanding meaningful advancements. It simply doesn't offer enough to make it a compelling choice for gamers who are looking for real next-gen experiences.

This console is a power house. Gears of war 5 runs and looks fantastic. Older Xbox one and 360 games also get a boost in framerates and visuals. My only issue is the my new console just shuts off when playing taxing games like Gears of war. I will be returning and get another one in the future if I'm lucky. The 3 stars is because of what I think is a faulty power supply.

      Hello there,

We're sorry that there's an issue with shutdowns when playing certain games. If it seems like the console is overheating, we recommend making sure that it's placed in a well-ventilated spot and that its vents are unobstructed. Our team at Xbox Support may also be able to help here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/console-turns-off-unexpectedly
