It's great to hear that you love your new Xbox Series X! If it doesn't fit upright in your entertainment center, it will also work okay lying horizontally on its side. As long as the space is well-ventilated, you shouldn't have an issue.

Christmas day he tried to play it and the console wouldn't stay synced up with the provided wireless controller. Made appointment with Geek Squad and they checked it out, but couldn't replicate the problem. They suggested buying another controller and using new batteries Instead of the ones provided with the Xbox. My son bought a new wired controller and new batteries. Checked to make sure the console was up to date. Neither the wired or the wireless controller would stay synced to the console. Tried adding the controller through the settings function and they still wouldn't sync up. Returned it to Best Buy and customer service was great. Changed it out for a PS5 and just waiting on it to be delivered to the store. Best Buy and customer service gets 5 stars, but the Xbox series X brings it down to just 1 star. Would not recommend buying the Xbox series X. Will recommend buying from Best Buy
