I purchased this new Xbox for my husband who had an Xbox 1 for like 15 years. Although I was really excited about this, and so was he, This model constantly needs to update every time you turn it on. It also takes a long time to open up the app of your choice. Our 15-year-old Xbox works better than this one

I was really looking forward to this console and although it has a lot of positives about it the main problem is that it shuts off without warning mid game. Not sure what to do but you can’t get through 30 min of gaming without it shutting down.

Same as is ever was. One died, new one replaced seamlessly. The king is dead - long live the king. My 14-year-old disconnected, reconnected, set up and was good to go in minutes. Please wait a year before you release a new version...

PS5 is immeasurably better. The PS5 controller alone kills the xbox. I returned it. My Last xbox S was a paperweight because I only used the PS4 at that time. The only advantage the xbox has is you can run emulators on it.

I couldn't wait to get the series x. I fought tooth and nail to get it online. It plays all games but one without fail. But as soon as I load up black ops cold war it seems to fail on me. Console gets hot and dashboards me relentlessly.

      Hey there,

We're sorry there's an issue in running Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on your Xbox Series X. We recommend making sure that it is updated to the most recent version of the game and that you are playing the Xbox Series X/S version of the game and not Xbox One. To do this, 1. Open your game collection and 2. Use the filer to select Optimized for Xbox Series X|S.

      Hope that helps,

Nothing wrong with the console, but for as hard as these things are to get in stock I was expecting more. Can’t honestly tell the difference between this and my Xbox one X. No special exclusives.

Got this on an impulse buy to play the catalog of Xbox game pass games with the hubby. Then Microsoft went and jacked up the price of their monthly subscription to outrageous numbers so now we have a colossal monolith that sits in our living room with no games. With the announcement of Halo coming to Sony PlayStation, is there really any reason any more to bother with Xbox?

Long story short, Buyer beware on Open Box - excellent Xbox series X. I bought one and it could not find or connect to wifi. Im not sure what constitutes excellent condition, But this unit was not properly tested before it was sold. I gave it 2 stars because customer service was able to refund me the same day.

Mine lasted through about 5 hours of gameplay. The next day it won't power on. Reached out to Microsoft and they were quick to tell me that I had to send it to them for repair. Online search looks like I'm far from the only person with this issue. Had to mail it to Microsoft and hopefully in a couple of weeks they'll have it back to me. If you're considering this purchase, might want to wait until they have some of the bugs worked out.

I am not a professional by any means, but I believe there are still too many bugs after it’s release. I am not disappointed with the hardware aspects, as this thing is a beast. It’s more software issues that need to be cleaned out.

As an avid gamer, I've traversed countless virtual worlds, battled formidable foes, and embarked on epic quests. Yet, none of my gaming experiences have quite matched the exhilaration and immersion that the Xbox Series X delivers. From its sleek design to its groundbreaking technology, Microsoft's latest console is a testament to next-gen gaming prowess. Let's start with the hardware. The Xbox Series X is a behemoth of power encased in a compact, minimalist design. Its monolithic form exudes sophistication, fitting seamlessly into any entertainment setup. The matte black finish, accented by the iconic Xbox green glow, adds a touch of futuristic elegance to my gaming sanctuary. But it's what lies beneath the sleek exterior that truly sets the Xbox Series X apart. Powered by custom-designed AMD processors and RDNA 2 architecture, the console boasts breathtaking graphical fidelity and blazing-fast load times. Whether I'm exploring the sprawling landscapes of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" or engaging in heart-pounding firefights in "Call of Duty: Warzone," every frame is rendered with unparalleled detail and fluidity. The integration of cutting-edge features like ray tracing and Variable Rate Shading further enhances the visual spectacle, immersing me in worlds that feel more alive than ever before. The addition of a 4K UHD Blu-ray drive ensures that my movie nights are just as cinematic as my gaming sessions, while the Quick Resume feature allows me to seamlessly switch between multiple games without missing a beat. However, it's not just the hardware that makes the Xbox Series X a gaming marvel; it's the ecosystem that Microsoft has cultivated around it. With Xbox Game Pass, I have access to a vast library of games spanning genres and generations, from beloved classics to the latest blockbusters. The sheer value and convenience of Game Pass make it an indispensable companion for any Xbox enthusiast. Moreover, the integration of Xbox Live and Xbox Cloud Gaming ensures that my gaming experiences are not bound by physical constraints. Whether I'm competing in multiplayer matches with friends across the globe or streaming my favorite titles to my smartphone, the Xbox ecosystem seamlessly adapts to my lifestyle, blurring the lines between console and cloud gaming. In conclusion, the Xbox Series X represents the pinnacle of gaming innovation, combining unrivaled performance, versatility, and affordability into a single, sleek package. From its breathtaking visuals to its expansive library of games, every aspect of the Xbox experience exudes a passion for gaming that is impossible to resist. So, if you're ready to embark on the ultimate gaming journey, look no further than the Xbox Series X—it's a love affair waiting to happen.

I know XBOX has the better specs this generation but i could never get on board with the UI and the controller. I think this is just an OK step up from xbox one but this consoles lacks due to game pass and bad exclusives.

Bought to replace a 360 that died. Actually prefer the image of 360 games over Xbox One games, which appear overly processed. GUI is needlessly busy and cluttered.
