I've had every generation of Xbox and I was able to trade my Xbox one x in at best buy for $200 and then use that towards buying the new console. I adore how fast everything loads and it is an extremely quiet machine like my Xbox one x before. Game Pass is also the killer feature here where for the price of 3 new games a year I get over 200 games so I haven't needed to pay for new games in awhile. This part is completely subjective but the Xbox fits in with my home media setup so well and doesn't stand out like the PS5 would.

It’s like waiting forever to land the beautiful girl just to be disappointed when you do. Can’t play any of the 360 games. Only some of the x-1 games work. Waited 2 years to be disappointed. I wish Apple would launch a gaming platform.

Never Delivered and best buy will not back it up .

Can’t play any games. They all freeze at launching. Wast of money. And turns off randomly. I purchase these on December, played it once or twice boom doesn’t work no more. Had to switch back to the Xbox one S to keep playing.

Comparison story: I've owned at one model of every generation of Xbox since the original with the previous one being an Xbox One S. I'd been playing Forza Horizon 5 on the One S connected to my 4K TV since November. The graphics were pretty good but the startup and load times were horrible. I could do tasks in other rooms while waiting for racing events to load. Then my Xbox Series X arrived this week. After downloading a system update and then Forza, I was ready to see the difference. Blown out of my mind. Startup and load times are so fast they are practically not noticeable. Combine that with the ability to do 'quick resume' for previously loaded games, and you can be playing in no time at all. Now I barely have time to see if there are any messages on my phone, let alone go do some task in another room. And the graphics are out of this world. In Forza if I stop at a field of flowers and I see that each flower has petals. Flamingos at the waterfall have feathers. Pineapple plants have serrated edges. Banana plants have tears and holes in the leaves. Pros: - Amazing graphics and speed Smaller than a PS5 Negatives: Storage of 1TB (which is even smaller due to system files) Games that are designed specifically for the Series S/X must be stored on the internal drive or an expensive proprietary Seagate external drive. But games can be moved to an external HDD or SSD if you aren't planning on playing it for a while. - Seems to consume more power than my One S. Running my TV, surround sound and Xbox through a UPS and 500-watt power transformer, the transformer could not handle the load when gaming on the Xbox Series X while it could easily handle it on the One S. Conclusion: If you can find one at MSRP prices, this should be a no-brainer of a decision for any gamer.

The xbox was reduced to a chunk of plastic. It refused to download updates and was stuck on a loop. Not letting me play.

Had it did not like it. I prefer the PlayStation 5.

Randomly turns off when playing next generation games.

Flat out sucks. Between reboots, checking for updates, updates, offline/online... it takes too long to start playing a game. I want to turn it on and start playing where I left off - doesn't happen

My Xbox came out damaged it turn off by itself smh

I have had it for one month bdand new from bestbuy and the controller constanly "disconnects" even with update and the console crashes here and there. 600 dollars it should work perfectly

Got this and then found it cheaper a month later and they didn’t honor the price match. Will not be buying anything else from best buy.

Trash has more value then this all yalk about game pass but look at what i play currently nothing i can’t already play on PlayStation

4 years with this console and its still going strong. Console itself has fit in 3 different entertainment centers nicely. Would sometimes run hot to the touch. Usually due to long gaming sessions and its confined location. Love the backwards compatibility, basically all my Xbox disc/ digital games would run on it. The controller is incredible, nothing needed to change from the Xbox one controller, just a nice addition of the share button. Also getting two years of game pass with the bundle I got at the time as awesome. Sadly these days I don't play it much but still enjoyed my time with it. Hopefully more exclusives will come to xbox soon. Definitely recommend this system for anyone looking to jump into Xbox.
