I do recommend getting a cooling fan and keeping it out of a small area. mine runs at about 111° F when playing games. i think since it is a larger console it makes more heat.

I set it up already for when he opens it on Christmas day. It was a little harder to set up than a "360", but with perseverance, I did it. I like the quickness of the console & the downloads were pretty fast. He will enjot this.

I didn’t expect too much from next gen in general, then I downloaded an optimized version of borderlands 3, and it changed my gaming experience. No drops higher FPS, it’s everything I wanted. 120 FPS on cod is great too. The ease to play backwards compatible games and the ability to seamlessly talk to friends who still have the Xbox one. It’s a great console to play next gen games at a price that is far lower than a PC.
