Definitely buy the series X for backwards compatibility and Game Pass. Older games run great with some having FPS boost and next gen updates. Not all games have them so just be aware. The controller also feels cheap compared to my PS5. Other than that its a beast of a machine.

Between Gamepass Ultimate and the ability to play older disk games, this system is everything you need in a console and a great gift for any gamer!
