PC gaming is really expensive, you can hardly find gaming graphics cards now a day. Xbox Series X is just amazing value and it will only get better with the release of next gen games. It has so much potential, much much faster and a lot more capable than the xbox one x. Game Pass is getting better and better, now including EA and Bethesda games as well. It gets a little hot in long gaming sessions but has not crashed or frozen on me yet. Keyboard and mouse works in a lot of single player or non competitive games which is great for gamers coming from PC. I am very pleased with the console, just need more new games to release. Currently it's just offering "Series X Optimized" games which are not built, but just polished for these consoles.

Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up because I've got some thrilling news for you all! I recently purchased the Microsoft Xbox Series X from Best Buy, and let me tell you, it was an experience that had me jumping for joy like a kangaroo on a trampoline! This little powerhouse of gaming goodness has blown my mind, and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you, John Oliver style! First things first, let's talk about the console itself. The Xbox Series X is a beast of a machine, a true masterpiece of engineering. With its sleek design and black monolith-like appearance, it demands attention and respect. And boy, does it deliver! From the moment I walked through those sliding doors, I was greeted by a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff who guided me through the entire purchase process. They answered all my questions with a level of expertise that would make even the most seasoned gaming nerd blush. And when it came time to check out, they whisked me through the lines faster than a cheetah on... well, you get the idea. But wait, there's more! Best Buy didn't just stop at the purchase. They went the extra mile by offering me a warranty that could rival the indestructibility of Captain America's shield. Best Console Hands Down!

I have had both the xbox series and ps5 and let me tell you why I kept the xbox and returned the ps5. Xbox series x is the best hands down - Built solid , Runs Very Smooth and Quiet , Hardware is better than ps5 , Quick Resume , Much easier and better organized user interface than ps5 imo , Powering down the xbox series x is way easier and better than going through 3 steps to shut down the ps5 , Graphics look amazing on Xbox series x , Xbox runs games better in 120hz where as ps5 struggles with 120hz, Xbox controller imo is way more comfortable for longer gaming sessions where as dual sense controller starts to cramp my hands after a short time , Internet connection on Xbox series x is way better and downloads games faster than ps5 , Game Pass and Backwards Compatibility on Xbox Series X is awesome as you can play any xbox game all the way back to the original xbox games. Ps+ is very limited and only goes back as far as ps3 games which are streaming only. Also you have to pay for a ps+ subscription to save your data just to save game progress which you don't have to do with xbox. So in other words if you ever have to delete and reinstall a game on ps5 you have to start the game all over. Another win for xbox because you can uninstall a game and reinstall and still continue where you left off. Batteries last much longer with rechargeable battery packs in xbox controllers , Dualsense battery life is much shorter and not that good. In the short time that I had the ps5 I was getting errors saying no internet connection although all my other devices were working fine on 300mbps internet and it also crashed with a black screen and shut down in the middle of a game, Not cool Sony. So to sum it all up imo the Xbox Series X is the best all around console this generation and that is simply the truth and facts. People are starting to realize that the xbox series x is the better console over the ps5 , Why do you think the xbox has been outselling the ps5 , Because it's simply the better console and better value for your money. Ps5 consoles are just sitting in stores untouched , While Xbox Series X continues to out sell it. I'm prepared to be down voted and honestly that's ok , Just telling it like it is and that's the facts. Happy Gaming Everyone

I have been looking for an Xbox Series X for the past 10 months. I would find one online only to have it say sold-out by the time I could check out. I got lucky and was able to purchase one online and finally get to check out. I have owned each version of the Xbox from the 360 through the Series X now. I will say that the Series X is a beast compared to the One and the One X. I have not had any problems with it other than running out of room on the hard drive for the Series X enhanced games. It is a lot bigger than the previous versions of the Xbox and will take up a little bit of room on your entertainment center, but it is worth it for the graphics and speed.

    Great Upgrade But Not Required

I used to play on a Xbox One S before I switched to the Xbox Series X. First things first, the quality and gameplay are a massive upgrade compared to the One S, everything feels smoother. Loading into a game is way faster, maybe 90% faster. I also noticed that my download speeds match my WiFi plan. I have a 500 mbps plan but on the S I would get around 250 whereas the X gives me around 450. Not sure if it’s just my console but my friend also had the same problem. Now to the cons you could say. The X is big so if your old console is in an area with little vertical height, good luck. I was going to put it where my old S went horizontally but it was to big. Another thing is that when you switch to the X, your games become X|S compatible, in order to achieve better load times and gameplay. The issue is that they have to be in the internal storage. Meaning your external storage device is almost completely unless. Now there are some games like Ark that can be played in the external storage but most games require internal storage to be playable. A semi work around would be to just transfer the games back and forth between the two storages has that’s much faster then uninstalling and reinstalling. My honest advice is if your running the Xbox One, you should think about upgrading but with the S you don’t have to as of right now. I really didn’t need to either but I had some cash saved up and decided to buy it. My S is still operating and in almost top condition. The loading time wasn’t really a deal breaker with my S. I play for my enjoyment, I’m don’t really care as much about the 4k, 120 Hz, and stuff like that. Honestly, I can barely tell the difference. If you made it this far, thank you and I hope you have come to a decision.

I enjoy this console a lot. Coming from using the old PlayStation 4 to this has been a nice difference in both the processing and visuals. I was a big Halo enthusiast growing up so going back to the Xbox has been a great throwback feeling with a futuristic feel with the new design. I would definitely suggest buying one through Best Buy as they have great warranties and deals that come with consoles and their connecting devices.

This thing is a beast! It was a toss up between this and the PS5 and I'm honestly glad I went this route. 4k gaming like its supposed to be! Now I know its no where near a PC setup, but for a console this thing is setting the bar. Quick resume feature is pretty cool, and you can have multiple games queued at once. Load times are almost non-existent, and downloads seem to go rather quickly, but that may vary depending on your ISP. The graphics are incredible! 4k gaming at 60fps is amazing. One of the biggest selling points for me was the backwards compatibility spanning all the way back to some first gen titles. If you're on the fence on buying this, just do it! You wont be disappointed!

If I could this would received a 4.5 star. The system is more compact than I expected but it is still not really pleasant to look at. Playing games is excellent. It is quiet, fast. A pleasure to use. My biggest disappointment with this and PS5 is the size of the SSD and the cost to expand it. At least with the cloud gaming (if you have game pass) it cuts down on the downloads you would otherwise be doing just to test new and different types of games. I wish they would have made the jump to SSD for the One X but I suppose it would have taken away some of the wow with the Series X. I am looking forward to see what they come up with next.

Newest edition to the Xbox family of Systems. The model is the more powerful disc model capable of up to 4K @ 120hz gaming. Xbox has backward compatibility with Xbox One family of systems, meaning it can play games from the Xbox One family of systems, and even a select amount of games from the Xbox 360 family of systems. The older games are enhanced with better graphics, performance, and loading screens are significantly reduced. The system is also compatible with Xbox One accessories. This version of the Xbox Series family can play disc based games as well as digital. Paired with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, owning an Xbox gives a nearly an unlimited amount of games to play. Purchase and enjoy!

Let’s be honest — my Xbox is a beautiful, soul-sucking machine. I bought it thinking I’d play casually… now it’s a full-time commitment I never signed up for. This thing knows exactly how to pull you in: quick loads, smooth graphics, and just enough dopamine to keep you saying “one more match” until the sun’s up and your dreams are crushed. Performance-wise? No complaints. It runs like a dream, barely makes a sound, and the controller feels like it was designed by the gods of procrastination themselves. I tell myself it’s for stress relief… but let’s be real. It’s a time thief in 4K. Sometimes I stare at it and whisper, “You win again.” 10/10 would sell my free time to it all over again.

I bought the Xbox Series X mostly for Fortnite and it’s been unreal. The game runs super smooth and loads almost instantly. No lag, no random freezes, and everything just feels faster compared to older consoles. What makes it even better is playing with my friends during senior year. Almost every night we’re on Fortnite together after school, running squads, talking trash, and just having fun. It’s honestly been one of the best ways to chill and make memories before everyone goes off to college. The graphics look great and the higher FPS actually makes a difference. Once you play Fortnite on the Series X, it’s hard to go back. Everything feels cleaner and more responsive. Overall I don’t regret buying this at all. It’s been a huge part of my senior year and some of the best times I’ve had with my friends. If you play Fortnite a lot, this console is 100% worth it.

I’ll start by saying I’m not a big gamer. As I’ve gotten older, life gets in the way and I just don’t have time. I grew up in the 90’s so that means Nintendo, Sega, GameCube, and of course Ps1. I had a Ps2, Wii, and 360 later in life. I bought a ps4 around 10 years ago and that was it. I wasn’t impressed with the lack of games, the cost of games, and just wasn’t a fan of the design. Let me tell you, this Xbox changes everything. The design, functionality, ease of use, and the quality are definitely there. This is how gaming should be! I have all of my media in one place, streaming, games, music etc. I can use Microsoft Edge if needed. The biggest thing for me is the Xbox ecosystem. I never got into online gaming on my PlayStation, I was old school and bought all of my games. I didn’t know that there was “cloud gaming” aka streaming. For someone like me, the ease of streaming games for free “Xbox Ultimate” is the best. I can try a game by streaming, then decide to download if I like it. I get bored with a game, just find something else to play by pressing a button. It’s so convenient. It’s almost like Netflix, scroll until you see something you like, press play, and your playing a game. The UI is beyond explanation. With a system like this, idk how Sony or Nintendo could compete, or why they would need to. If there was never another system made for gaming, I would be ok because this Xbox is perfection. For $500, it is a steal.

I felt really lucky to snag the Series X, but while I was waiting for delivery, I started seeing YouTube reviewing with miscellaneous complaints about the Series X. I had upgraded from the One X and became concerned I might have made a mistake. I should not have worried! So far, my Series X experience has been flawless. The unit was easy to setup and it automatically detected the correct settings for my TV. I have the Series X connected directly into my Yamaha RXA 2070 receiver (Atmos) which then passes the signal into my LG OLED TV (4k with Dolby Vision). Even though the TV has a 120Mhz refresh rate, it does not have HDMI 2.1 support, so it cannot display games at 120fps. When I loaded Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the game was automatically updated for the Series X. The screen displayed that 120fps wasn't available, but that it would be upscaled to 6k @ 60fps. The picture is drop dead gorgeous, and the performance is breathtakingly fast. Enormously faster than the One X. I also tested Red Dead Redemption 2 which has horrid load times. Again, enormously faster. Both HDR and Dolby Vision work fine with games, as does Dolby Atmos. I then tested the Series X as a bluray player. This is the center of the negative reviews for the Series X. But I had no problems with my unit. The disk drive is quiet. A slight whirring, but no chatter when spinning disks. The heat generated is no greater than the One X. The vents do expel very warm air, but not hot. I played 4k movies, standard HD blurays at 1080p,and older SD DVDs. All movies played beautifully. Again, Dolby Atmos and alternative audio formats all worked as they should. The fly in the ointment is that movies will not display Dolby Vision, though they will display HDR. Hopefully Microsoft will fix this in a firmware patch soon. But there aren't many 4k videos that currently support Dolby Vision, so I can wait. One of the big critiques of the Series X that did worry me is that it doesn't display pure black. Since I paid a lot for an OLED TV to get pure black, this was an issue. Turns out it isn't a problem. Both games and movies display what appears to be pure black. If it technically isn't displaying pure black, my eyes cannot detect it. And I'm really picky about audio and video. Okay, long review! Here's the punchline: the Series X has one, hopefully temporary, downside - - not displaying Dolby Vision with movies. That's it. Everything else is great. I'm very pleased with the Series X.

The Xbox series X is probably the best gaming console on the market right now. It runs all my games at 4k 60 or 120 fps and it hasn’t lagged or had screen tearing once even with the storage almost full. It’s super quiet and I really recommend getting this if you’re looking for a good, affordable console.

First, let's talk about the design. The Xbox Series X is a sleek and sophisticated console that looks like it came straight from the future. Its monolithic form factor is not only aesthetically pleasing but also serves a purpose: it's designed for optimal cooling and airflow to ensure that the console can run at peak performance without any overheating issues. And boy, does it deliver. I've been playing games on this console for hours on end, and I've yet to experience any lag or slowdowns. The controller is also a thing of beauty. It's comfortable to hold, responsive, and features a new "share" button that allows you to capture and share screenshots and videos of your gameplay with ease. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers provide a new level of immersion that truly enhances the gaming experience. But what really sets the Xbox Series X apart is its power. With a custom-designed processor, the console delivers up to 4K resolution and 120 frames per second, which means you'll get buttery smooth graphics and lightning-fast load times. And if you have a TV that supports it, you can take advantage of the console's 8K capabilities for an even more jaw-dropping visual experience. Of course, all of this power and performance comes at a cost, and the Xbox Series X is no exception. It's not cheap, and it may not be the right choice for casual gamers who are content with their current console. But for those who are serious about gaming and want the best of the best, the Xbox Series X is a no-brainer. In conclusion, the Xbox Series X is a true powerhouse of a console that delivers on every front. Its sleek design, powerful performance, and immersive features make it the perfect choice for any gaming aficionado. If you're in the market for a new console, the Xbox Series X should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!
