I’ve played my series X more than any previous XBox I’ve owned by a long shot. I really love the quick resume feature that most games have that lets you quickly switch between games or get right into playing when you power in the console. The console is also very quiet and I like that it blends in better and is less, “look at me” than my PS5. The only downside is that there isn’t much in the way of new games or exclusives like you’d find on PlayStation. But those will come And if you have a back catalog of XBox through XBox one games, most of them are backwards compatible. I also recommend getting GamePass as a way to try lots of games.

The graphics are great, and it runs super fast. I love playing old and new games with Game Pass. It's quiet and smooth, making gaming fun. It's a bit big, but worth it for the power. Highly recommend!

Ordering and picking up the Xbox was a breeze. I am a fan of the slow rollout Best Buy does for items in high demand, I hope that trend is used for the RTX 3080 graphic cards when they are back in stock as I am still struggling to find one anywhere. As far as the Xbox Series X is concerned it is lightning fast and lets older games shine with higher framerate, resolution and even texture quality. Game Pass is a no brainer for anyone who owns a console from the Xbox family, but with the Series X it provides tons of different games to mess around with as we wait for more next gen games to take full advantage of the hardware. Now for some drawbacks. The console has a habit of hard crashing in almost any game (could be just me, but I saw similar issues online). The speed of the console allows you to get right back where you were after a crash so it mitigates frustration, but no one likes to crash in the middle of an online match or when you haven't saved in a while for a singleplayer game. All-in-all the Xbox Series X improves upon the strong foundation Microsoft and Xbox set in place by the end of the Xbox One generation, which is impressive considering how poor that generation started. If you are interested in getting into gaming yourself, want a gaming console for multiple generations, or if your curious about the value of Game Pass, it is hard to go wrong with an Xbox Series X this generation. Simply more bang for your buck, from hardware to software. Excited to see what games become these consoles defining pieces!

Amazing console and awesome customer experience from Best Buy. Only site I was able to legitimately get through and purchase console without being overwhelmed by bots. The console itself is a great quality of life upgrade from the previous generation. Not so much of a revolution as perfecting many of the details from the last gen. Nice design, quick resume of games, fast loading, cool controller, game pass, a lot of attention to detail. Completely silent when running games. Compared to my PS4, which was as loud as a vacuum cleaner running down later titles, this is a big deal to me. Highly recommended, and I appreciate the customer experience from Best Buy.

Definitely a product of the future. I'm more of a PC gamer, but I've always kept up with Xbox. I love the cross platform cloud system and game library. Also, very easy to just turn on for a quick round of COD or Madden. That being said, I've owned the original Xbox One, the One Elite (if yawl remember that), the One S and the One X. Every time I use this console, the load times surprise me. It never gets old. The graphics are top notch. Very impressive system for $500. The expandable storage card was a must for me.

I dont have much to say but I will say that this is a great console. Being able to play at 120 frames is great(this depends on the monitor you have). Another that's cool about this console is that it has quick resume which great if you were on lets say YouTube for example. If you go back to the game you were playing before, you'll see on the top right it says quick resume and the game will be at where you last had it as long as you dont close the game.

I'm really impressed with the Series X and pre-order pickup at Bestbuy. Pickup was scheduled and only took a few minutes. The console itself is amazing. It feels very solid and runs quiet even when under load. New games look great and have additional detail over what you would see on previous gen Xbox One X (which already looked very good). Older games run smoother as well and it was nice to see all other Xbox One and 360 games I own work great. Improved game load times were a plus also. The new controller has a few minor refinements and feels good overall. Only thing missing that I was hoping for was the ability to play Dolby Vision UHD discs.

Powerful! Upgraded from the OG Xbox One (2015); to say the least, this is it, fam. The fan is ever silent, I can't even tell if it's spinning or not, but I'm sure it is. It doesn't get hot at all, even after hours of playing. Aesthetically, at first, I will admit, I found it a little awkward. However, the fact that its dimensions are actually a little less than 12x6x6in^3 (HxLxW), makes the tower design rather pleasing. The updated controller is actually really comfortable to use, too! It's very grippy, and the material used for the body is even used for the bumpers, triggers, AND D-pad. Oh, and also, the updated D-pad design is SUPER satisfying to use, and provides both a great responsive feel and aids in making your button inputs so much more precise. The power brick is finally a thing of the past! However, I'm not sure if the design and hardware engineers were able to integrate a safety feature into the system itself to protect against sudden power loss/surge, so be sure to use a power strip that offers that type of safety feature (just as a precautionary measure to take care of your console). My ONE issue with this console is that you won't actually get the full 1 terabyte (TB) of SSD storage as advertised, which is not surprising. The system software itself is stored into the hard disk and takes up about 222 gigabytes (GBs) of your 1TB (1024GB), so you'll only have 802.0GB of free space left for your games. In this day and age, 802GB is NOT enough for a complete library of games, considering most AAA games now ship around the 50-75GB range, and eventual, future updates for your games only means you will have less and less space for the games you'd want to install onto your local drive. This is unfortunate, but it is the reality. Thankfully, this console is designed to accommodate for expanding your internal storage, so I would highly recommend the purchasing of additional SSD-type storage that is compatible with this Xbox. 1 additional TB of SSD storage should suffice. Please be sure to do further research on the subject before making that purchase. Overall performance, however, is AMAZING. This console provides the best experience in console gaming of this new generation, and the loading times (thanks to the switch from HDD to SSD and better hardware optimization) have been reduced to you barely being even able to open your phone in time to look at Reddit/Twitter, or whatever to pass the time. However, please be sure that you own a TV/monitor that will allow you to take full advantage of this console's performance/graphical capabilities. (More research is required on TV specifications for an optimal experience.) The way Microsoft has handled the launch of this system makes the console extremely consumer-friendly, and you can be sure that you will be getting the best "bang for your buck" by choosing Xbox over its competitors. That being said, although this console is $500, it definitely lives up to its promise, and, to date, I do not feel, nor have I felt, disappointed by my purchase. New gamers will absolutely love this console, and returning gamers can be assured that this machine lives up to the hype. Happy playing!

I’ve always been a fan of Microsoft but they really out done themselves with the graphics with this generation of Xbox. I upgraded from the show one x I'm never going back! Haven’t had any issues and it doesn’t make my bedroom stuffy and hot while running. I definitely recommend getting the SD Card for extra space!

Wow! What else can be said. Microsoft delivered this highest quality console to date. It is easily the most powerful console on the market. It is extremely FAST! +Super quiet! +Quick Resume is a thing of beauty if you play a lot of offline, single player type games, as the game loads INSTANTLY. +Fast Loading, the console is on and on the home screen before my TV is on. In game loading screens are often so fast, I dont have time to read the tips a game provides. It. Is. Fast. +Size is not nearly as big as pictures display. Bigger than the Series S obviously but much better footprint than the original Xbox One, 360 and OG Xbox.

Needs 1st party exclusive to showcase what it can

Its not truly fair to review this as is with no 1st party console exclusives at launch to really show off what it can do- it. Currently 3rd party games like Valhalla, COD and even that mess of a game cyberpunk2077 are performing better on my PS5. Here's where it gets crazy though. Devs didnt have kits for series X nearly as long as they had kits for PS5- so that's expected for the 1st year or so maybe. With the new rdna2 components, and the extra bit of "power" I expect this console to get better with time (and quickly). Gamepass is unbeatable and a fantastic feature if you own and XB but dont subscribe to gamepass idk what's wrong with you. My only real gripe is that It turns itself off from time to time. Valhalla and CoD seem to be the main causes of this. MS has explained this to be a software not a hardware issue. Quick resume is as amazing as it sounds and works just exactly as advertised. the new controllers may look nearly identical to the prior model but they feel different and new in hand. All the small tweaks are welcomed. Series X has by far and away my fave and simplest launch setup process of any console ever. Enough cant be said about the console design. I LOVE the low key look, and no- It isnt a large as it looks In pictures, but it is significantly weightier. I still havent gotten use to the space age alienware PS5 design but the simple XB design looks natural in my living room and doesn't draw the awkward attention the PS5 does. Absolutely great. Fantastic secondary console.

I wasn't sure about upgrading from an Xbox One X since I was totally satisfied. Saw the Xbox Series X available to purchase and was lucky to get one Not sure if I was going to keep it and let it sit upon for a few days. Saw the Matrix game demo online and decided to try it. Very impressed with the smoothness of the graphics. One feature I really like was quick resume. Games load so much quicker. Games optimize for Series X look more clearer. Even my favorite game Sniper Elite 4 got optimized and plays fast and smooth. Looking forward to new games in 2022.

Perfection. New design, ultra fast UI! I'm mad I never considered an SSD for my Xbox one x. But yeah I own Ps5 and this and hands down, in a side by side comparison on a 65" True 4k 120hz tv, Shadows are perfectly detailed, but only slightly less on Ps5.. Audio processor is similar... Load times are slightly faster on Ps5, and truthfully the Ps5 control is more comfortable. But for performance. One example. Cyberpunk 2077 .. crashed 8 times in one hour on Ps5, didn't crash once on Xbox. Also no frames lost on Xbox. Before you judge the xbox PUT IT ON HARDWARE IT WAS BUILT FOR. 4K 120, with N 8k HDMI w/Ethernet!
