This is by far hands down the best console that Microsoft has thus far produced. It is very quiet and I have had zero problems with it since I have had it. I was fortunate enough to get one on the November 10th release date. If it wasn't for Best buy doing a second wave of pre-orders on September 22nd, I may not have been able to get one and they were the only retailer at the time that we're doing multiple pre-order waves on September 22nd while everyone else just did one wave of pre-orders. The backwards compatibility feature is very nice with the built-in auto HDR, wich makes the previous generation games feel like something brand new and the frame rate boost to those games is nice as well. The quick resume feature is a game changer, where you can quickly switch between multiple games back and forth in quick sucession without having to sit and wait at a loading screen for an exorbitant amount of time. It is a well-built compact machine that does not take up a lot of space and paired with the right TV that supports the series X you will get to enjoy some very beautiful graphics. The best console that Microsoft has built so far and I thought the 1X was the best one they built but they have now trumped the 1x.

I’ve been playing Xbox for years and I have to say that if you are able to score one of these it’s well worth it. The game play is smooth and the graphics are amazing especially on the enhanced games. Quick Resume is awesome when you’re the type to jump from game to game and the load times are extremely quick. It was definitely worth the struggle and wait to get one.

Fast, beautiful graphics, worth the purchase. Loads my kids' Minecraft worlds in seconds as opposed to the minutes it took on the Xbox One. Late adopter of the system due to the cost, but it was worth it and I'd buy it again. Got the disc version as we have a ton of Xbox games already, but haven't tested it out yet. Now to start saving up for the next gen...

Absolute fire, load times are non existent, controller is a perfect upgrade without breaking the solid controller from last gen. Games look nice on my 60fps UHD Tv. Lack next gen games though, if you have an Xbox One X, I would wait until they release more games specifically for X/S although the optimized games have a noticeable difference (specifically Forza Horizon 4).

Microsoft did a great job with this piece of hardware! the XSX runs really well, is super quiet, and has a great controller. plus some great features!

It's very fast and so far it handles all the games way better. I don't have a 4k TV with 120fps but the 30fps games can now run way smoother at 60fps. The load times are also way faster and the console doesn't get hot or make any noise at all. Once I get a better TV I expect it will only be even better. Definitely a next-gen console. You should definitely buy.

Leaps and bounds ahead of the Xbox One. I’m more of a PlayStation guy myself, but I’m very impressed by this machine. Faster than ever load times and this thing is QUIET. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is absolutely the best deal in gaming too. Now they just need to get some more first party software out to support this high quality machine.

The new Series X is absolutely amazing. It's super fast and responsive, makes everything look better on a 4k TV, it's super easy to setup via the Xbox app. It's larger than I expected, but still fits nicely among the atmosphere. The quick resume feature lives up to its name, and I highly recommend it for anybody looking to upgrade their current Xbox experience.

Powerhouse. Truly incredible load times. Everything runs better, faster. PUBG runs much smoother with increased framerates, and virtually no crashing at all. Even when it does crash, you're back in the game in less than 60 seconds. What a relief! Quick Resume is a game changer. Almost no reason to worry about saving games anymore. What a world we live in.

Microsoft improved a lot of things on this console that were not already improved on the Xbox One and even the One X. Gamesoad tremendously faster, and Series X optimized games are just beautiful! Make sure to give the console a good amount of breathing room as it can get pretty warm. Overall it's a great console, and I haven't experienced any negative things with it.

I love my xbox, ive always wanted one as a kid. Being able to buy my very own was the best day ever. Its fast, the storage is great. Messing around with the setting to get the perfect picture is easy. Great product

I was in need of a new system with more and more games coming out for the X/S series. Best Buy had a good offer on a brand new Xbox X with Forza Horizon 6 and. Forza Horizon controller for basically the price of just an Xbox X by itself. When I picked up the Xbox at my Arlington location, the worker there noticed the one I was getting had some damage to the box and went out of his way looking for another one as he wasn’t sure there were anymore Xbox Xs available. So far I’m very please and glad I got it through Best Buy

I'm moving from the XBOX ONE X to this and the quality does seem better. The system seems nice and quiet, no complaints. I don't really have many SERIES X games yet, so hard to judge. Played FORZA 4 and the draw distance seemed improved. Loading was better. My one complaint, the system is HUGE! Does not fit in my opening, so I had to place on top my stand.

I've had this system since it was released and it's been great! I decided to purchase a new TV so that I could utilize 120 fps and I can't believe the difference I noticed when playing Cold War multi-player. My only cons are no Halo Infinite at release and that it does get very hot so make sure you have the unit somewhere with appropriate airflow.

This upgrade to the Series X was definitely worth it, the games load way more faster, the graphics are stunning and beautiful. Definitely recommend this Xbox.

Awesome system! Great 4K game graphics and overall performance. Love it! A WORD OF CAUTION FOR X/S SERIES CONSOLE PURCHASERS. A number of Next Gen gaming Developers were not careful to do pre-installation or pre-run checks on the games that they have written for Xbox. What this means is that an older Xbox One game can run on the X series and cause problems, crashes and freezes, and even turn off your Xbox when it runs into a part of the game that is not (and needs to be) tailor coded for the platform.. In fairness, Microsoft may share a little responsibility for making sure these checks are done as well when the game starts. To avoid these problems and to avoid damage to your Xbox, be sure to download the X/S optimized games and run those only, in regards to Next Gen games. Bottom line, make sure the game is compatible with your X/S series, and if you’re not sure, look it up or contact support. I had this problem & initially thought I bought a lemon Xbox. It turned out that it was the software version of the game itself and that it was completely software related. I realized that I had somehow downloaded both the Xbox one version of a game, and the X/S version, and was running them both at different times unwittingly. Hope this helps someone else! I am impressed with it to be honest. It loads the games fast, there is no lag or glitching going on. It runs very smoothly. Overall, though a great buy, a decent price. If you want a good system with good graphics and to run the games very smoothly.

So far this machine is absolutely amazing. It's so quite the humidifier in the room is louder than the Xbox even while playing assassin's creed and cyberpunk. The quick resume function works as advertised and it's scary cool. I took out cyberpunk, put in watch dogs legion then put back in cyberpunk (because I own all of them on disc) and it picked up right where I left off. It's a feature I never knew I wanted and I never want to live without it haha. Finally the console is super fast. In assassin's creed load times between fast travel points takes less than 10 seconds. Often times I'll fast travel, pick up the phone and by the time I unlock my phone I'm back into the game. It's crazy. I can't wait for what's in store for this generation. Microsoft has kicked it off with a stellar machine that has all it's core features working well right from the get go. The actual 803GB of storage will get filled up fast, so either keep your HDD as a pack mule, or get the SSD. For those thinking of getting both consoles, like myself, I would recommend getting the series X and a digital PS5. The series X is a better machine for the same price as the disc PS5. Play all the cross platform titles on your xbox and just play the exclusives on the PlayStation.

Xbox has continued to listen to it's fans and this console is the latest in a number of moves to position it as the industry leader. Super fast load times, better graphics, and an amazing library thanks to gamepass make this a great console to own now and in the future. Pros: - Super fast load times. Coming from an Xbox One S the difference is incredible. - Smoother gameplay, menus, everything - Last generation games are consistently being optimized - Console has a cool design and 4K Blu-ray player. It can work vertically or horizontal. Cons: - While xbox continues to optimize last generation games there is still a lack of exclusives. Gamepass and multiple free-to-play games such Apex Legends help as I already have too many games to play, but it would be nice to have games to be as excited about as Spiderman or God of War. - Console is large. While I like the design and shape it doesn't fit in my entertainment center upright (vertical) so I have to lay it on its side which I don't like the look of quite as much. Overall I'm very excited to own this console. This console release feels a bit odd due to the shortage of consoles and "different" leap forward compared to past launches but so far the next generation is looking very promising.
