Great console, but very overpriced.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it is a good console, but I find it lacking in many areas. For starters, the price is ridiculous. Sony keeps their consoles at a reasonable price unlike Microsoft. You can buy a ps5 pro for this price. The only reason I decided to go with an Xbox, was because I already had a library of games built up. Another thing that is disappointing is the lack of new games coming out on physical discs. I bought the disc drive version specifically collect discs, and was disappointed to find that the shelves are mostly empty compared to ps5. I also wish that it came in more colors, specifically white. I ended up buying a dbrand skin to make up for that, but I wish I didn't have to. The storage is lacking too. I only got about 800 usable GB I believe. One last thing, with the recent price raise of the game pass subscription, it also does not seem worth it anymore. With how much it is pushed, you don't really seem to get your money's worth if you don't play that many games. You'd be better off taking advantage of the disc drive and buying used games, but even that's difficult since Microsoft is trying to phase out physical media. They just seem to be giving in to corporate greed nowadays. Now that I've gotten most of my gripes out of the way, I do like how quiet it is while gaming, I like the user interface, I like the form factor, I like the controllers (aside from stick drift, come on Microsoft just fix that already), and I really like the performance you get I just wish it was cheaper. All in all while I like it, I wouldn't pay full price for it and I'm glad I waited for a sale. There is just a lot to be desired and it feels like Microsoft started giving up on the Xbox side of things. If I didn't want to collect physical disc games or have a more portable gaming system than my PC that shares the same ecosystem, I ultimately would not buy this.

Finally, An Xbox that's an actual box!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received it from BestBuy in a box that looked like it was used for soccer practice. Opened already for me, because the delivery guy is so thoughtful! Controller is a little finicky when used while plugged in, but I'm not returning the whole shebang for a meager controller malfunction. The Xbox Series X itself is awesome. Nothing to complain about there at all! Worth the dosh!

Amazing, silent, fast, POWERFUL
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AMAZING! Gamepass is second to none, the ssd is blazing fast, the quick resume feature is mind blowing fast...instant load in to any game you had previously been playing. Fully back compatible, as well as 4k upgrades to previous gen titles. The Series X runs completely silent, and the UI is easy and super fast to operate, as well as staying connected to all and any apps you need. The controller is the best controller on the market, the subtle improvements have perfected an already great controller over the previous gen. This system is worth every penny!

Price was hefty but definitely worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always been an Xbox fan since battlefield was only for it. The new Xbox one series x definitely has better graphics than the previous Xbox one. I usually play around 3hrs a day before bed and I haven’t had any glitches with it and you can’t hear the fan to cool the system so that’s always great since I play at night when everyone’s asleep. Knocking it a star for the price point. Other than that I love the system.

Xbox x good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Waited a long time to upgrade my xbox 1 to the X. I needed the disc drive and the space. It has delivered in what i needed. Sleek design, I love the quick resume so you can start exactly where you left off in the game. I dpnt care for the opening sound when you turn it on, seems a little weak. And I wish they would make the memomy be a high number of TB since the good games are so big(200gb). A good buy but the price point is too high for the console being as old as it is.

Next Gen is here!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it! it's a great step into the next generation of console gaming! The games look stunning in 4k and 60fps and in Dolby vision! The load times are lightning quick for X/S games, and there's absolutely no fan noise either! It's incredibly quiet! Quick resume is also an amazing next-gen feature; it will let you have multiple games running at the same time on your Xbox Series X and seamlessly switch between them. What an amazing console!

Best Christmas gift
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the **Xbox Series X** as a Christmas gift for my husband last year, and it turned out to be the best gift ever! He’s been using it every day since December, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s performing. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is super smooth, and the load times are practically non-existent. What made this gift even more special was the fact that I ordered it just a week before Christmas, and it still arrived on time—such a relief during the holiday rush! My husband was over the moon when he opened it, and he even teared up with joy. Seeing his reaction made everything worth it. So far, he hasn’t had any issues with the console, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our home entertainment setup. If you’re thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it!

A great piece of hardware.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending an entire month with my brand new Xbox Series X, I have to say that this console is such a great piece of hardware. The Xbox Series X has lived up to, all of its hype surrounding the new console back when it was revealed at the Game Awards 2019. With that said, the console is whisper quiet even while playing graphical intensive games like, Gears 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Resident Evil 2: Remake, it doesn't matter...it's super quiet. The best part about the Xbox Series X is, the massive backlog of games it has due to Microsoft's dedication to Backwards Compatibility as well. And not only do older Xbox and Xbox 360 games look better, but they get a huge boost in loading and overall performance. With that said, the new Xbox Series X so far has made a first great impression on me, and I believe that the console and its games is only going to get better in the near future. Also, with the reveal of new games in development such as Avowed, Bright Memory Infinite, Fable, Halo Infinite, Perfect Dark, Scorn, State of Decay 3, etc. I think this new generation of Xbox is going to, absolutely deliver great first-party games to their fans across the board.

Xbox Series X - Next Gen... Is Here!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it! All of my old games are backwards compatible. NBA2K21 looks incredible even on a 1080p TV. So, I don’t get full advantage of 4K features... games do look better on Xbox Series X compared to Xbox One. I played MK11 on PS4 for hours and hours. It looks so much better on Xbox Series X running the ‘Ultimate’ disc. Load times are amazingly fast. The controller while familiar is very nice feeling in hand. All of my old games were ready to download once connected to the internet.

Xbox Series X Delivers Incredible Performance and
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Xbox Series X from Best Buy and honestly I’m very impressed with it. The console is extremely fast compared to older systems. Games load almost instantly and Quick Resume is one of the best features because I can switch between games without waiting forever for them to start back up. The graphics are amazing, especially on a 4K monitor or TV. Games look very smooth and detailed, and the performance stays consistent even in demanding games. The console itself feels premium and runs surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is. I also like how backwards compatible it is with older Xbox games. Game Pass makes the system even better because there are so many games available without constantly buying new ones. The only downside is the storage space can fill up quickly with modern games, but overall this is easily one of the best gaming consoles I’ve owned. Best Buy shipped it fast and the pickup process was easy. Definitely worth the money if you want powerful performance and smooth gameplay.

Jumped the Playstation Ship
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very impressed with what the Series X has to offer. I'd gone with Playstation for the last several generations and felt very underwhelmed by the PS5 design and what it has to offer. The backwards compatiblity support is amazing and I am catching up on the 360/XB1 exclusives I missed in the best possible way on a 4K TV. While it's a big console, the shape and design are easy to work with. It also runs cool and quiet. I was a little worried about using batteries in the controllers, but having a batch of rechargeable AAs around is very easy to work with. Unlike with the Playstation controllers, I don't need an extra one for battery emergencies. The rechargeable batteries last for days between charges. It's also cool that XB1 controllers work on the Series X. I would actually recommend this to PS4 owners who aren't overwhelmingly thrilled about the PS5. It has a lot more to offer right now in the way of exclusives you probably didn't play yet and it is much, much easier to get one (Fall 2021). Included pictures of it against my PS4 Pro to help get an idea of its dimensions.

Must buy
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best buy is the best place to get it. I got to pick it up a day early and process was simple. Now for the console itself, everything loads up way faster, the graphics and steady 60 frames is noticeably better than on xbox one x, love the new d-pad, games download a lot faster, and quick resume is a must have. Only thing I could add is a 4k UI, it will make the UI feel a lot more next gen. If you have anything less than an xbox one x, this is a must buy console.

Fun Next-Gen Console for Years to Come!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent console all around! The build quality on the unit and the controller is top notch. It runs extremely quietly. I’ve yet to hear the fan rev up after a month of daily play. Game pass is just such a good value and there’s so much fun to be had. Really enjoying playing new games at 60fps and with enhanced visuals. Love the compact design, snappy UI, and Atmos sound. If you’re reading reviews wondering if you should get one, YES, it’s worth it.

Great Hardware For The Cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as a piece of hardware goes...this thing costs a third of what I a paid for a gaming PC (about 3 years ago), and it completely outperforms it. It has a minimalistic design that sort of blends into my living room. Also it's super quiet. Overall, this is a massive step forward from my launch xbox one. I just wish there were more games...but they will come. Also gamepass makes this thing more fun as well.

Next-generation at a slow and steady pace
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lot of value for the next-generation. You get all the legacy titles you already own if you have any previous Xbox console. Some games even come with a boost from the original source material. Fight Night Champions instantly comes to mind. 4k, HDR..you really have to see it on the Series X. Older titles may see boost like Battlefield V where you can play the game in 4k ,120fps. Dying Light plays at a buttery smooth 60 fps with HDR now upscaled at 4K, i popped in the same game on the PS5 today and its still 30 fps.. Its a beast for the older generation.. As far as next-generation gaming... Its coming...fortunately as of this review, its much sooner than the actual console purchased date...lol. The wait been has been painful...but the future is extremely bright... Havent even talked about game pass.. Easiest way to explain, its netflix but for gaming. Microsoft hosts all their first-party titles in the subscription but you also get EA Play (Madden, need for speed, star wars) as part of the subscription and you also receive day one titles from 3rd party companies...so Dungeons and Dragons:Dark Alliance that just came out a week ago...currently in game pass.. So its a trade-off. Im new to xbox and the whole ecosystem, but i do own both next-generation consoles.. its clear sony has more exclusives right now, but xbox is coming along nicely and Starfield...should probably youtube Starfield...ok bye.

4K Quality + Beast Performance for the Family Room
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A superb addition to the family room tv! Powerfully produces quality gameplay in 4K as advertised, From newer games like Forza Horizon 5 to classics like the Rare collection on Xbox 360, it all works great. Loading screens have been a pain in the past, but with this console, less time needed to wait. On the Best Buy side of things, I had to queue in as it was a “high volume item” even after 2 years later. The only downside was that I couldn’t add 24 month financing when I purchased it initially (but with their customer service, it was straighten out), so caution on that. Otherwise, I was able to easily pick it up at my usual Best Buy store when it was ready. Pros: 4K looks beautiful, yet the performance is way ahead of the previous generations of the Xbox. Cons: Be mindful that this might be a high volume item on this site and not available to pick up at the store right away. Verdict: Definitely a must have for the family room consoles. Tons of games to play, and with Gamepass, expanding your opportunity to game, and streaming options are available for entertainment.

Next gen console and pick up
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Series X is a next-gen powerhouse that delivers on every front. Its lightning-fast load times, stunning 4K visuals, and smooth performance make gaming an incredible experience. Features like Quick Resume and Game Pass add even more value, letting you seamlessly switch between games and access a massive library of titles. What made it even better was how easy it was to grab one at Best Buy. I ordered online and picked it up the same day—super quick and hassle-free. If you’re ready to upgrade, this console and Best Buy’s service won’t disappoint!
