The Next Chapter: Xbox Series X
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are trying to find a reason to compare this to PS5, leave this review. This ain't for you and won't be some "console war" type review telling you why the other sucks. The Series X is a proper powerhouse and testament to Microsoft's commitment to gaming. From amazing graphics to Quick resume, this system delivers the experience you expect from a next-gen console. GamePass is nothing short of the greatest deal to ever hit the videogame industry, for a small cost monthly getting access to hundreds of games that would cost you substantially more if you were to purchase them all separately. With Microsoft currently acquiring more and more studios, the future of games available on Series X will be exceptional, with Halo Infinite releasing in November. If you are looking for a console with performance gaming as its main focus with s huge library of current and future games, this console will not disappoint.

Best bang for your buck console
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Series X for a while now and honestly, it’s been awesome. Super fast, super quiet, and it just works. What really makes it worth it for me is Game Pass — having access to a huge library without having to buy each game separately is a game-changer. I’ve tried way more stuff than I normally would, and it’s all smooth and snappy. Setup was easy, the design is clean, and it fits right into my setup. If you’re into gaming and want something powerful that doesn’t make a fuss, this is it. Want me to tweak it even more to match your tone or mention your modular setup? I can make it feel even more like your voice.

Totally Worth the upgrade and the best is coming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very nice upgrade from my old XBOX ONE X.......it is ridiculously fast and upgrading took minutes. All your old accessories work even the rechargeable battery packs for the controllers. Moving your old games over from your console was simple as plug and play of your external HDD. Whisper quiet and does not emit much heat or almost any sound. Nice design that while it does not glaringly stick out on top next to my TV. Everything just runs faster and older games look fantastic and run smoothly. New games are gorgeous that I've tested on my 4K HDTV. Only issue in beginning was that the Series X does not support streaming to Windows 10 PCs like the old Xbox One models (but this if easily fixable by installing the Windows 10 Beta Streaming app and it works great). Console streaming to my android phones/tablets works flawlessly outside of the house too. Xbox Game Pass + EA Play is killing it and you don't have to spend $70 on games as they are all available to you immediately.

An enjoyable experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using it for about 4 hrs everyday since I've been furloughed since August. Its something new so I've been playing nonstop. It is extremely quiet. I do have to turn around to make sure its still on. Heat is minimal even with Cod cold war. Its solid and well built. I did have to move some things to a different shelf so this stands proud by itself. Quick resume is really a game changer as everyone has already stated. Load times are quick and the ui is snappy. I was a little disappointed that it was the same as my old Xbox one s. You buy into a new generation and its a little disappointing. Not a deal breaker but a letdown none the less. Controller is much the same from the last generation which basically equates to being a perfect controller. D pad is improved and the overall texture and size seems to have been improved somehow. New Exclusives are non existent right now but will come in time. I am one of those people that enjoy gamepass and what it has to offer so to each their own.

Love my series x!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is such a leap ahead of my current Xbox one s….no comparison. Loading times, speed of switching through in game menus, 60fps. I’ll never play my one s again more than likely. Runs destiny 2 as easily as if it were a small mobile game. Absolutely flawless. I have always loved the Xbox platform. I like the tweaks they made to the new series x controller but can’t believe they haven’t made the jump to rechargeable like the PS4 and PS5. I really wish the controller was rechargeable but it’s not a deal breaker. Picked up a set of rechargeable batteries on Amazon which fixed the issue of burning through AAs. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the upgrade even without a ton of series x exclusives it definitely is. The series x upgrades for older Xbox games make a huge difference. I don’t think the bundles that some other retailers are worth it which was why I loved the fact that Best Buy offered console only.

Maybe My Favorite Console So Far
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could be one of my favorite consoles of all time. It plays a majority of original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One games with better performance and, in many cases, graphical enhancements. The new controller has been refined to near perfection, although it isn't much different from the Xbox One controller. It's a tiny bit smaller with added grip on the backside, a better concave d-pad and a new screenshot button. The graphics of the new games are fantastic (although it is early in the generation, so I expect massive improvements in a year or so). I also have a Playstation 5 and so far they are neck and neck in terms of performance and graphics, but I expect Xbox to pull away in terms of better looking multiplatforms games, but PS5 to have the overall better looking and playing exclusives. But Xbox could surprise us all, especially with the recent acquisition of Bethesda Software. If you have the money and love Xbox, this is a worthy upgrade to the Xbox One and even the Xbox One X.

Massive Upgrade from My Old AW XB1 Console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was rocking the Advanced Warfare Xbox One for many, many years and was getting to the point where I was having console lag and crashes. Best Buy had a great deal on this for Black Friday and giftcard and decided to splurge. This thing is sick nasty! Performance: If you don't have a 4k TV or Monitor (I use a 4k Samsung Monitor) you will not get the full experience here. I had brought this over to my friends house and he only has a 1080p HD TV and I didn't get near the same quality. The HDR is amazing, it is a feature you need to experience on a 4k display. Games like Fortnite and GTA look like brand new games. Super smooth, sharp detailing, and it stays quiet and cool. I also love how you can switch between games without having to restart them. I didn't know this was a thing and it is amazing to switch between games with very minimal wait time. Storage: 1TB is not enough storage, luckily, you can expand it easily with an expansion card that plugs in the back of the unit. You can also do what I do and use an external SSD drive which works fine for my needs. If I ever need more storage I know I have expandability options. Ports: You have 3 USB ports- 2 in the back and one in the front. This should be plenty to charge your controller with the play and charge kit, expand storage and for usb connected headphones. However, if you have old astros, you will need to upgrade because there is no optical port. You can also get a special connector for optical usage but it is not a deal breaker. Of course you have HDMI, ETHERNET, and the expandable drive slot. Controller: Wish it had built in battery charger like PS5 does. However, the play and charge kits work fine and it makes sense they do this as internal batteries (like any batteries) will wear out overtime. Easy replacement! Controller feels comfortable, just wish they made the thumbstick a little larger for my big thumbs. I love the quick share option and I can use it on my iPad with Bluetooth for playing games on there. Overall it is awesome controller. Overall Review: Yes, it is worth the price. This thing is killer and if you already have a 4k display do spend the extra money and get the series X. I was going back and forth on this and I am so glad I got the best one available. The performance, speed, and overall visual experience is superior and Microsoft knows how to make a great gaming system being my last console lasted almost a decade (9 years).

Amazing machine even better with Game Pass!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is a beast!! I am not here to do the "Xbox vs. PS5" debate. I actually own both and think they are amazing machines! The thing I thinks makes the Xbox Series X a must have for me is the powerful hardware and the must have Xbox Game pass. With these two in combo you have every game you could want for an excellent price! I can place triple A games on Day 1 on my Xbox Series X without having to pay $69.99 like I do on my PS5 and the quality is out of this world! The only difference I see in the machines is the PS5 controller (outstanding) and exclusives. But if you want a lot of games in your library without breaking the bank the Xbox Series X with Game Pass is the way to go! Sony hasn't got anything in place to complete worth wild. Maybe in time but for now you get more with Xbox. PS5 has some killer games but you will have to pay for them and they do kick butt. So you choose, or if you can get both! Game on!

Better than XB1X, but missing killer title.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft best Xbox in value and performance. All my backwards compatible games worked out of the box. The system boots fast, and it's probably the quietest console I've heard. You have to try to hear the system when it's running. In terms of heat it runs cool, the air exhausted feels a cool warm if that makes sense. Nothing that would make your hand feel uncomfortable by any stretch of the imagination. In terms of games they play better on the XSX compared to my XB1X and the fast loading is much appreciated. Is the overall fidelity a big leap? No, I think this generation is all about performance. Now I can't drop 4K for 1440P higher FPS. I like crispness over FPS like 120 or 60. High detail constant 30FPS with good motion blur is better than 60 FPS with reduce detail in my opinion. With gift card I got it for $427 after tax so I applied the extra money towards game pass (2 in a half years) along with expandable storage I applied another gift to knock off about $100.

Still love me a cd version
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Other than it being bigger and bulckier than the original xbox one. Its still cool and works just as great as the xbox one x. Honestly couldnt find many differences that make a big deal to me other than being smoother plus the quick resume for games was pretty cool. Feels more like someone upgraded from an iphone 13 to an iphone 14. Xbox one x to an xbox series x. I think this days are harder for us to be impressed by new tech but any improvements and better at everthing else as its previous gen im happy with. Ithink this would be fine for as long as it last idont know how we can top this other than improvments again and slimer body but i dont think ill be upgrading again considering i was fine with the one x

Really fast great graphics, needs more storage
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far really enjoying it. First off let me say I am in my early 40s and have been gaming since the original Atari. I have a PS5, Xbox one X and a gaming PC that is about four years old. The reason I got the series X is with all the Covid shortages upgrading my PC would cost to much. Set up was really easy being I had an Xbox one when I logged into the the series X it had all my apps, pins setting and everything already saved so all I had to do was redownload the apps and games. Graphics are an improvement over the one x. Downloads seem to be a little faster. What is a great improvement is the load times from booting it up to launching a game is great. I have had Xbox game pass for some time now I highly recommend it, it adds a lot of variety of games to play. The play anywhere titles are nice to I only have to buy them once and can play on Xbox or PC. The backwards compatibility is also a nice perk. The only really complaint I have is the hard drive space, the hard dive is faster but I just don't think one terabyte I that much when most new AAA titles are 100 plus GB. So here's to hoping the extended hard drives come down in price. Over all happy with my purchase and was finally able to purchase one.

Xbox amazing but not the one
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Powerful Hardware: The Xbox Series X is a beast when it comes to hardware. The graphics are stunning, and the load times are incredibly fast. Games run smoothly, and I've never experienced any lag. Game Pass Ultimate: This service is a game-changer! With Game Pass Ultimate, I have access to a massive library of games, including many new releases. It's a fantastic value for money, and I can't imagine gaming without it. Backward Compatibility: I love that I can play my older Xbox One games on the Series X without any issues. It's a seamless transition, and I appreciate not having to rebuild my game library from scratch. Controller Design: The Xbox Series X controller feels great in my hands. The textured grips and improved D-pad make gaming more comfortable and precise. Cons: User Interface: While it's functional, the Xbox dashboard could use some improvement. It can be a bit cluttered and confusing to navigate at times. I hope future updates will address this. Game Library: Although Game Pass is fantastic, the exclusive game lineup could be stronger. While it has improved over time, I'd love to see more must-play titles that are exclusive to Xbox. Controller Battery Life: The controller's battery life is decent, but it could be better. I find myself changing batteries or recharging it more often than I'd like.

Microsoft Xbox Series X
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performance is really what is expected due to the hardware installed in unit. My issues are in the big bulky plastic shell they have holding it all together and then it runs warmer than any console i have owned. nothing above it or blocking air flow. Other than that fast boot up, fast load times and uhd display looks really nice in 4k

Simply The Best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been loving this Xbox Series X. I also have the PS5 . In comparing both game systems , I am usually a PlayStation fan but after purchasing this Xbox , I am leaning more towards the Xbox . Love the simple design vs PS5 oversized bulky weird shape. I love the quick resume the Xbox has as well. No more waiting for the game to load. Game Pass is also a plus . Offering new games when released is so much better then PlayStation. I like the Xbox X so much better that I am thinking about selling my PS5. Highly recommend the Xbox X series.

Next Gen Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Series X is a great piece of hardware. The system UI is much improved with faster loading and navigating thanks to the nvme ssd. The system runs very quite and heat levels or unnoticeable. Don’t be duked by videos online. Your system vents should be dispersing heat away from your system and if the vent feels like AC after playing for a long time thats a bad thing. Yes, the system is big but not as massive as the PS5. Finger prints do easily show but once you get your system in plays just wipe those off. Its not like you need to grab and move alot so thats not a big deal. The system and games load faster which makes more of a difference than you’d think. The Series X controller is also improved with a share button and textured grips. It also feela better in my hands but YMMV. The 1st party games from Microsoft are a ways off but my review is strictly about the system.
