one of the best jrpgs on the switch looks pretty in hand held mode plays well

This is a great game if you’re willing to invest your time. Good graphics and better gameplay.

My son loves the game, but I didn't realized this is a DLC, it comes with codes for the other DLCs there is a total of 5 and it would have been $10 cheaper to buy the digital version of them. Oh well it is still a Great game.

This is the first jrpg game that I have purchased for the switch and it’s amazing! So immersive that I just enjoy running around battle after battle. I could do that for hours...wait I already have.

It is not necessary to play the main game to enjoy this one, but it definitely helps. The story in this game gives context to the characters' motivations in one of the best games of 2018. Check it out!

Love that this game is a stand-alone expansion which means you can play it without owning the original game! Also you get the expansion pass for the base game so that was a very nice surprise!

This is essentially a sequel and should be looked upon as such. It's a fantastic experience and if you loved XC2, the improvements here will make you wish they were in the original game.

This prequel to the game was a good insight of the full game.

If you liked Xenoblade 2 then this game is a no brainer. If not then it's probably best to avoid. The story takes place before Xenoblade 2 so you could play it first but you would spoil some things for yourself in the main story. Monolith actually went above and beyond with this game by adding new battle mechanics not present in the main game.
