Definitive editionis right - this is the best version of one of the best RPGs of the last decade. It runs well on the Switch (better than Xenoblade Chronicles 2) and is absolute worth the full cost as it is long and full of great content as well as a million sidequests on top of that.

phenomenal RPG with amazing world and music. Highly recommended

This is my 2nd Xenoblade game, with Xenoblade 2 being my first. I absolutely love this game! I do like Xenoblade 2 better, as I think the story and obviously the graphics are better.. but this one offers a better combat system. I wouldn't consider this game to be too challenging. I'm on Chapter 13 right now, so I'm nearing the end, and I've loved every minute of it.

Incredible Remaster, if you like Jrpg this is a must buy

One of the best games Ive ever played- my #1 favorite, in fact. It completely renewed my love for video games and I played it at the perfect time in my life- right when I needed it. It helped me through some tough times and will no doubt do it again with the Definitive Edition.

Xenoblade not only looks better than ever, but there are many quality of life improvements as well. If you've never played this game on the Wii or the 3DS, this is the definitive way to play it! If you have played it on one of those, you should see the graphical enhancements as well as the new QoL features.

Loved Xenogears back in the day and this iteration of the Xeno games definitely holds up. Did not have a chance to finish the game kn the wii or 3ds but seeing the upgraded graphics gave me incentive to play through this game finally. The Xeno games have some of the best storytelling moments in video game history I'd say and I will recommend this to any rpg fan.

With a cast of likeable characters, a stellar voice cast, fun, complex gameplay which is thankfully explained carefully, beautiful visuals, and the expected "Nintendo Charm", Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is a proper HD remaster of an amazing game done right, and is an example of why the Xenoblade Chronicles series is Nintendo's best RPG series.

Got it day one and it was a gorgeous, thought provoking trip

Definitely the definitive edition of this amazing game and compared to how it looked back in the days of the Wii, it looks amazing and clean and I am so glad that it is available to play on the Switch. I can't recommend this version enough, whether it is the first time playing it or if you've played it on both the Wii and New 3DS.

Amazing game! Glad it was rereleased for the switch with upgraded graphics. The story and the acting is top notch. The gameplay and exploration are that of an RPG (though with its own twists). If you are a fan of RPGs, do yourself a favor and get this game

The original Xenoblade Chronicles was nothing short of an engineerinf marvel on Wii hardware. The Switch remaster isn't mindblowing but its enhanced character models and interface add to what was already a deep, engrossing and addictive game. Very highly recommended. The combat, customization, characters and story are absolutely excellent.

One of the best Japanese role-playing games I've played. The story is engaging with many twists and turns. The characters are great. The improved visuals especially help with much better character models. This world is very fun to explore with a fun combat system that the definitive edition makes easier to get a handle on. Highly recommended.

Beautiful game with an engaging story and fun gameplay

If you like jrpgs, this is definitely one of the best. The story starts off a little slow going to pick some Pace rather quickly once you leave colony 9. Also if you play the original there's a lot of enhancements that make the game a lot better and easier to play. The extra story mode is also a big plus.

Gameplay is great. Graphics are amazing. Love the story.
