The graphics aren’t bad but the actions u hav to use are to confusing and the fighting style is just bad the game was designed poorly in my eyes don’t get me wrong story doesn’t seem to bad game had me hyped till I played it and the style of it just terrible

Sure would be nice if a booklet were included to show the commands for the buttons on the system. Like the looks of the game but not sure what to do. Have played a different version and was able to get around on it, liked that one just fine.

It's a decent enough remaster. The draw distance issue (which existed on the Wii, to be fair) might have been addressed better, and the doe-eyed anime makeovers don't sit right with me, but that's a matter of taste.

My kids (12 years old) didn't care for this game much, and the way some of the characters in the game are dressed I wouldn't let them use it anymore. It wasn't returnable so I'm stuck with it.

I just could not get into this game. I don't like the voice acting, and the combat felt boring so for me that made the whole game fall flat.

Great game, only complaint is the delivery because they told me a date and decided to update it the day of that itll be delayed and it came 5 days later than expected

visuals are improved, task tracking is MUCH better than the original or even Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but it's battle system is extremely repetitive and just not my cup of tea.

If you like a huge world and a long rpg, this is the game for you.

A good update to a not great game. Combat is shallow, world exploration becomes VERY tedious in later areas, characters range from being okay to paper thin. One of the weakest Xeno titles.

Huge game and awesome gameplay and story. Loved every hour of it . And worth a second play through for sure

I missed playing the original version of this game and ended up playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 first, and then buying this remaster for the Switch. This definitive edition looks a lot nicer and has some quality of life updates as well. Although I would say that I think I like the sequel better, this is an excellent adventure JRPG. There are a lot of cutscenes and story. The fighting is a bit more simple than in Xenoblade 2 since you don't have pairs of characters. It's a lot of fun to customize your team's appearance and even special moves. As you move through the game you collect better weapons and meet new people that join your team. The story has some pretty heavy emotional points and some mystery that keeps you pushing forward. Be ready to put 50-80 hours in depending on how many side quests you want to do.

Great game, enough challenge, but not so much that you don't want to play it

Potential too many sidequests if you don't enjoy those, but the great story and engaging combat make this game worth it.

Never played the Wii or 3DS version. Decided to give this a try as I played some of the 2nd game and found it interesting. Defiantly better and enjoy the combat and characters more! Would recommend to anyone who is interested in this type of genre.

Own this on 3DS. it's nice to revisit chronicles in HD. I must have for fans.
