Comcast hooked up the modem we purchased at Best Buy and it is doing a good job .

We are a small family with what I consider moderate data/wifi usage. Modem allows all utilization, and we finally were able to send the xfinity modem back and save on the rental fees!

We are saving a lot of money by buying rather then renting, So of course we like that. We have had no problems with the modem etc.

It is great and work wonderful. My friends used it and recommended. I also had a good price from our stores. I love BestBuy because they always have great prices and great savings.

While pricey, this unit has a good range on WiFi (throughout 2400 sq ft house) and excellent speed.

This is the same modem/router that would be supplied as a rental from Comcast. You would save the monthly rental fee which will, in time, pay for the unit. The router portion has a distance limitation for remote access. However, Comcast technical support will work with you to achieve the best signal.

I liked the devices and works great as expected which also save my money.

Good modem but the wifi isn't great. I don't get a strong signal upstairs.

I bought one thorough amazon that was supposed to be for cable in the Northwest. It did not work!!! I returned it and purchased the one that does work with cable (Comcast.net). I am not sure WHY Comcast required the update for with the new modem I do not see any different from my older modem.

Same unit that is sent with in home installation kit. Newest feature is that it includes a wireless router with pretty good range. Was able to get rid of the wireless router I previously used to only use this one. Also provides access to Xfinity WiFi signal within home if you have service.

Excellent Cable modem and wireless router easy to hook up

I installed the modem and wireless router without any problems and it works just as well as the one from Comcast that I replaced.

I am very happy with this modem. It is the same as the one I rented from Xfinity for $10 per month. No problem hooking it up. Glad I bought it. Will save money in the long run.

Save some $. Easy to setup. If you plan to keep xfinity for a while this is a good option.

I upgraded my older cable modem and router with this model. The online activation went exactly as described in the instructions. The entire activation process was approximately 15 minutes; and the majority of that time involved an update to the device. Connecting other devices with the WPS button works much more reliably than with my previous router. Prior to installing this router my computer would occasionally disconnect from the wireless network. After the installation the disconnection started happening more often. However, the problem was in my laptop and it was easily corrected by updating the network adaptor driver.

I purchased this modem instead of renting for 10 dollars a month. It supports both of my telephone numbers and works very well.

Works really good with infinity internet and phone. Easy to install.

If you have Comcast, and use Xfinity Internet and want to get your own modem/router this is the one to purchase! My internet has been consistent and fast, I'm impressed!
