Modem the same as the one you rent from Xfinity therefore saving rental fee.

The modem is rather pricey as if it was controlled by comcast.company. There were no other product on the market that do similar function and you were left with no other alternative but to buy other than renting it from comcast Company. The internet is flaky, and the design was not too appealing.

The product works as described. The issue is more with the ISP. 3 hours on the phone with them and 2 hours on the phone with my personal router manufacturer. But now I'm not paying a rental fee to the ISP. Overall, despite spending 5 hours on the phone I am happy with my purchase. I would have bought different modem if I didn't need the telephone part of it.

Great connectivity that has very good range. Easy plug and play setup. Price of modem will be off set after a year or so of ownership (instead of paying Comcast it's monthly fee)

Ok the item I purchased is doing an ok job and the only reaso I bought this item was to lower my Comcast bill

Works well, No trouble, easy set up only thing it doesn't offer the second wifi signal for guests like the one I had from xfinity

Needs newer computer to utilize features. Only buy if you plan to remain with xfinity for two years or more.

Purchased this to replace my Comcast/Xfinity rented unit, and it works great! Telephone works great, internet works great! (TV also works great, but that goes through a separate box). In any case, it was the perfect drop-in replacement for my rented one, and is saving me $10 per month now! NOTE: It does NOT come with a back-up battery, but I was able to take the battery out of my old rented one, and pop it in this one (it was a perfect fit). The Comcast rep told me that they throw the old batteries away when you turn in your old rented unit, so you are allowed to keep the battery from the old unit. All is well!!

We decided to buy our own modem rather than continuing to pay a monthly charge. It will pay for itself in the long run. It was easy to hook up. Wish we had done this sooner!

Mediocre range with slow speeds, but you will save on monthly rent

It is nice to not have to pay $10 each month to rent this from comcast. It is the only modem offering a telephone connection. Can't quite give up the home phone yet.

This works as expected, but, a little known fact.. All those free Comcast Xfinity wifi hot spots you use around town? Yeah, those are done with these modems. Essentially, you're using another Comcast customer's bandwidth (and they're using yours). You can have Comcast turn that "feature" off if you ask. Also, if like me, you already have Wifi access points and a router in your setup, you can have Comcast set your modem into "bridge" mode, essentially disabling the router and wifi inside the modem. Why would you buy this modem, then? It's pretty much the only one that supports Comcast Voice service.

I purchased this modem as recommended by Comcast, my old one was outdated. As soon as I had this new modem installed my Internet surfing went from slow to smooth and fast.

had to upgrade my outdated modem. chose this one because of good reviews and I wont have to pay rental fees. it will be perfect for online gaming and faser downloads

The Xfinity modem runs okay. It is not the fastest modem out there. The reason I bought the Xfinity modem was because I did not want to pay equipment fees with Comcast. The Xfinity modem was the only modem I found that was compatible with Comcast. It has a telephone adapter which I need.

I was sick and tired of paying for rental equipment and decided to give this a shot and i am glad i did. Was very easy to set up and haven't had a problem since.

This product was was great choice for replacing Xfinity's equipment. I have already started recommending to everyone I know who is paying for rental from Xfinity.

This modem combined with my ASUS router delivers over 200Mbps on my equipment. with Comcast. Saves me $20/ mo rental charge. We rate this as an outstanding product.
