When we purchased xFinity1 service from Comcast, we decided not to pay a monthly fee to use their equipment but chose to buy our own modem/router.

I am happy that I can reduce my monthly bill for renting the routers from Comcast. This unit works well

after working with the provider you will be able to use this product successfully and in conjunction with other software you may be using.

I bought this item so that I wouldn't have to keep paying Comcast $10 a month to rent it. I wish I would have thought of doing this two years ago.

This beats renting from comcast..in 2 years i will be even.. so far no problem.. slightly difficult to set up had to have comcast come..

Bought this for the phone connection. Signal coverage is good but speed significantly decreases with distance. At 20 - 30 ft i get a very good signal but my speed is only 5% to 10%. I barely use the phone so I can not say much about phone reliability.

Have seen NO improvement in speed etc... Not impressed

This is an exact replacement to the router that we were renting from Comcast. Works the same.

This is the direct replacement for XFINITY customers who have phone service. Saves ten dollars per month that Comcast charges to rent.

I was tired of paying Comcast yet another fee for equipment, so I decided to purchase my own router/modem. I am very pleased and satisfied.

Why rent when you can buy. This modem has served me well for several months now. No issues, and got rid of CenturyLink rent as long fee.

Easy install everything needed in the box for install plus few extra parts I did not need. Called Comcast they hooked me up in no time.

Comcast is the only ISP is my City. Why not pay as little us one has to. Without competition, you should monitor your bill closely.

I order this because we were changing. Our internet, tv , and land line to xfinity and I didn't want to pay a rental fee monthly.

Xfinity - Arris Touchstone Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem and Wireless Router with Telephony Adapter - Black works well, though I did have to by a signal booster so that I could use wifi upstairs.

Nice piece of hardware. I purchased this so I didn't have to rent a telephoney modem from Comcast. Pays itself off in a year.

The product is somewhat mandated as to which one to use by Comcast for their internet phone. It functions as both a cable modem and router. It is not as good as the individual units that I replaced as far as wifi capabilities are concerned.
