I purchased this card as a replacement for a work computer that we were converting to a two monitor setup. The DVI port pictured both on Best Buy and the packaging showed one that allows secondary output (extra pin) bit after unboxing it was not that type at all. Turned into a total waste of time. Returned.

Does it work? Yes. Does it handle DirectX12 as the box says? No. It should be known that per AMD, this chipset is end of life'd. Don't expect much from it other than web/office work for older machines.

Purchased card and I spent a week trying to get it to work. Contacting AMD customer support was via email with trouble ticket. Took 2 days too respond. Responded by email only. After trying the emailed instructions and failing numerous times, I got frustrated and called number asking to speak to live person. I discussed issue with live tech and he said card was defective and to return to best buy. If BB would not exchange the would replace but was 2 week turn around. Fortunately BB exchanged and second card has been fine for 2 weeks now

    - Very old. Box doesn't even mention Windows 10 support, although I have Windows 7. - Bought 2 of these. Neither one worked even though PC has correct slot and other cards do work. - Best Buy return policy not suited for business purchases. I couldn't return them both - have to pay postage twice! I can't bring it to a store because the credit card belongs to our General Manager. - Last time I ever buy from Best Buy for business purposes. Ugg!

I was very disappointed with this GPU, I may have gotten a bad one but it seemed as if the QC had fallen through on it. When it installed it worked but when using it in a game my onboarding graphics actually outperformed it. Can't say I would recommend this to anyone outside of an office.

    Excellent Graphics Card

My computer had integrated 256 megabyte nVidia graphics built in. It was nice - 8 years ago, but modern video technology has long left it behind. The newer videos and games that run on Windows 7 sp1, 8.1, and 10 don't run on such a low video capability. So, I went to the local Best Buy and saw this 2 gigabyte AMD Radeon R5 200 series graphics card available for only 50 bucks, so I did a "shot in the dark" routine and bought it. To my surprise. this graphics card worked the minute I plugged it in, set the BIOS to run it, and started the computer (eMachines ET 1331g-03w). No problems. Windows immediately automatically installed the AMD controls and control panels. I never HAD to use the Installation DVD at all. The difference in video and picture quality from before was, the best I way can say, astounding. It plays faultlessly any game I like (fishing, mostly), TV, movies, YouTube, it matters not. This AMD Radeon R5 200 series graphics card handles them with amazing clarity, clearness, and crispness. And the biggest reward of all for putting in this graphics card was, it runs as if it specifically made for Windows 10. I had never seen such smoothness in a graphics card or system until I got Windows 10 successfully installed on my computer. This graphics card acts as if it helped getting Windows 10 installed. Whatever online, cell phone, or other game I have tried out, this graphics card plays them. No crashes, no hangs, no blue screen, no problems. And, last of all, because this graphics card is an AMD, it clearly has merged in some way with my computer's CPU, which is also an AMD. I am no computer programmer or professional, or anything like that, but I know that in some way, these AMD products have a way of working well together. In simple words, so far this graphics card has to be one of the best.

The box info said it's pci express 3.0 16x and it's not. Plus it only directx 11.2 not directx 12 which the box say. When playing video games it lags really bad.

I've been having problems with my 8-year-old beloved PC that I built - black screen from boot! It seemed like it was a RAM problem (based on BIOS beeps), and Corsair was incredibly generous to replace my RAM sticks. (Though the warranty had expired 3 years ago!) I don't know if they tested the sticks to confirm they were dead, but the new ones didn't solve the problem of the black screen. I was ready to consult a local PC shop, but my wife suggested to first try this inexpensive solution, since a faulty graphics chip (I have an AMD Radeon graphics GPU on my ASUS motherboard) was the next likely culprit. And, YES! I put the card in, started my PC, and it was like "Hey, where have you been? I've been looking for you." :) I don't notice any other changes. The driver was easy to update (even for my Win-7, 64-bit). My PC was custom-built to be energy efficient and very quiet, and I'm glad this card is rated to need ultra-low power (it doesn't need a separate power connection inside the PC, just plugs into my PCIe 2.0 x16 slot), I assume partially because it has a heat-sink instead of a fan. A fan also would have added a tiny bit of noise again. I'm sad this card is already a legacy product. I'm not a gamer, I just needed a decent, affordable card to get my PC going again. I realize graphics card makers live off gamers, but I wish they wouldn't forget regular users. This was by far the least expensive known-brand graphics card. And even its features are already overkill for my purposes.

It run good but due to the lack of stream processor it would not be that good to have 1080 but 720 would be a good start with no lag but after it could and would be lag or unresponsive. Due to the lack of fan the graphic card could just burn it self up this review I am making right now the temp is 80F high.
