This card requires an absurd amount of tweaking for its own sake. For an expensive and new card you would expect to have everything working perfectly out of the box, but no, you will have to change volting, clocking and if you don’t be careful enough even the latest driver can cause you problems and you’ll find yourself searching for specific driver versions on the internet in order to find one that works for you. This is extremely disappointing. I’m going back to NVidia.

AMD does not support VR (Virtual Reality) at all. They fixed it for one update last year but since they stopped supporting it. This card has been out forever and they refuse to offer support on VR gaming, videos, anything. I'm using this with a quest 2. Doesn't matter which headset I use it will crash, freeze, and stall. Worthless.

Drivers are up-to date but constantly freezing mid game getting error code: Driver Timeout. Super frustrating and very annoying.

I was very excited about this card. Wanted to give support to AMD to give more competition to NVIDIA. Unfortunately it crashed frequently in my system in many games after a month or two of use. Also had weird graphical anomolies like white trees in hogwards legacy and black trees in rdr2. Receive a replacement through RMA but did not fix my issues. Switched out all components and tried countless things to try and fix the timeouts but nothing worked. Only thing that stopped the crashes was switching to a different GPU. Had to sell my 7900 xtx for a loss since it was out of the return window. Had a very stressful time (and wasted a lot) trying to make it stable.

I wanted to like the percieved value of this card, but ive had constant driver crashes while gaming since day 1. None of the Adrenaline drivers make a difference. Steer clear and stick with Nvidia

Love the gpu feels good and fits perfectly with my setup just wished my gpu didn’t take a whole week to receive I have 2day shipping kinda upsetting

Ordered Thursday morning, payed for next day. Missed next day. Said item was delivered "met customer" wasnt me. Tried to get another one oops. No more in stock

I was hoping for a good upgrade for a good price coming from a 3070ti but in mw2 battlefield 2042 fortnite and halo infinite for the most part my 3070ti still performed better. I did every troubleshooting step to think of from updating bios trying other drivers and different settings. Nothing changed still 120 to 140 fps I’m returning it and saving my money for a 4080!

Like many reviews coming out after a few weeks after launch, there have been some issues on the driver side of things as well as thermal issues when on full load there will be thermal throttling with a significant delta difference between the average temperature and hot spot temp. This just feels like a rushed product and AMD dropped the ball this generation it feels along with NVIDIA and their pricing.

I'm using a multimonitor set up & the Vram stays maxed out. Once the other 2 monitors are disconnected the vram goes to idle. The idle power is high with multimonitor setup as well. It averages around 100-120w. With one monitor it's averages 30-40w. Honestly thinking about returning this card & skipping this generation all together.

This card has been nothing but problems. Games will studder, some games will blackscreen the system, and corrupt the drivers. Some games will run great for 4 minutes, then reset the computer.

The GPU could not play anything for more than an hour after that it gave black screens, I had to power off the whole computer itself just to have a display back. Never buying a GPU from best buy again

I’ve done my best to love this card and give AMD a chance. The 7900 xtx is absolute garbage.

I love this graphics card! It is doing everything I thought it would and more ! Upset I bought it right before the price dropped almost $200 but it is what it’s. Definitely suggest getting one if you are a gamer!

Coming from a 3090 that i accidnelty broke, this card was pretty much the most i was willing to spend on a graphics cards. Ive had the card for a few days and this cards is a Beast. I play on a UW @144hz and it barely breaks a sweat in most games. This is the best card you can buy around $1,100. The card’s hotspot doesn’t go over 82c ever. The memory jovers around 72c.

Best graphics card I have had so far and the ray tracing isn’t too bad for an AMD

Got an average of 230 fps playing Call of Duty on extreme setting on 1440.

This card is great when it comes to gaming. HOWEVER, when it comes to productivity it lacks a lot of power for the price. I am honestly debating selling or returning this card in order to purchase a RTX4080 or a 4090 if I am lucky enough to get one. This maybe a driver's issue, but I don't have time for AMD to play catch up. Great for gaming, Meh for productivity.

It works very well if you dont care about raytracing.
