Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Speedster MERC310's exceptional performance, impressive cooling capabilities, and high frame rates in various games. Many appreciate its value for the price and quiet operation, although some note its large size and occasional driver issues. While ray tracing performance is a point of contention for some users, others find the power consumption to be relatively high. Overall, the card receives praise for its build quality and smooth gameplay experience in many titles.

Great Card Ruined by Drivers and Software

When the card works it does so beautifully and powerfully. I have never had a problem with heat either. However I will never buy an AMD card again regardless of how attractive the price is. This card causes most of the games that I played to crash an excessive amount of times. After looking at Windows Event Viewer all of the problems stem from the driver and its inability to play nice with the OS and the registry. There are some days when playing games like Ark Ascended that the card crashes the game as often as every five to 15 minutes. I wound up selling this garbage and getting a 4090 despite the obscene pricetag.

Outstanding card! My first team red card. My only issue is it was a little difficult to set up and get to the point that it didnt crash occasionally when gaming. After i solved that i have had no other issues with the card. I get amazing frames an max settings 100 plus in starfield on ultra! A great card for anyone willong to trouble shoot a little.

Aesthetically attractive card. It's been running fine for about 4 months now. No real complaints except that there has to be a better way to cool gpus besides slapping on more fans. And also gpu prices have gone up too much and I probably wouldn't have sprung for this if I didn't have discounts and cashback incentives.

Its big and it eats up a lot of power but its well worth it. Handles 1440 and most 4K like a breeze and doesn't get too warm. Its black so it will fit into almost any system and setup you have. Its a bit pricey but well worth it, especially compared to its NVIDIA counterpart.

Card performs but has a lot of coil whine. I spent a lot of money on quality case fans that move maximim air with minimal noise so now i live with coil whine. I dont understand how they release like this. I wont buy another xfx card.

This is an absolutely beautiful graphics card, installation was easy, but it requires 3 4+2 PCIe connectors, so make sure you have enough before you install it.

Great when it wasn't busy randomly crashing

When the driver isn't crashing, this beast makes quick work of exporting 6K camera timelines into 4K exports for YouTube videos. Unfortunately, it was stable for a little over 2 weeks so that I could not exchange it for an Nvidia. Lots of complaints about random crashes. I had upgraded to a Corsair 1000 watt Gold 80% PSU. I had one more week of stability, before the recent meltdown. If you're considering buying this, I urge you to buy BB's membership so you can extend the return period as both they and their credit card company both refuse to go over and beyond to return so you can buy an Nvidia to save yourself a massive headache. I will work with AMD to troubleshoot/RMA if needed. But right now my rig is up and running with an old Nvidia GeForce 2070 Super (but much slower on the exports than this beast was, but then, at least it is working). I will update if the RMA of either this card or the PSU solves the problem that multiple driver installs, new cables, and BIOS changes didn't help. BB customer service was very pleasant when they told me they couldn't help, but suggested reaching out to AMD for warranty and to BB credit card wanting to have me talk to BB's Geek Squad. BB is unable to let you call the store directly to talk to a manager as they route all calls to central call center with no capability to call the stores.

Great card for gaming, but that's about it. If you're aiming to do any productivity work or get into machine learning or AI, the lack of CUDA cores makes a huge difference.
