my grand children enjoyed this cd and dvd, it's WINNER IN MY FAMILY

This is a great CD of his works. They were compiled quite nicely.

I've always liked MJ's music, so I pretty much buy anything released, which makes me the MJ Estate's target audience. Don't get me wrong: it's not bad. It's just not something Michael would release. These would be "bonus" tracks on his cds, nothing else. "Love Never Felt so Good", which, by the way, was first released in 1984 by Johnny Mathis, is one of the stronger cuts, which isn't necessarily a positive review. Additionally, unless you buy the deluxe edition (which contains the original demos), it's a pretty short cd. MIchael was a perfectionist. He wouldn't be happy with this. Anything released after his passing will always be compared to his classic albums ("Off the Wall", "Thriller", "Bad") and neither "Michael" (the first posthumous album) nor "Xscape" will ever compare.

Reminds me of his early work! I recommend this as a purchase.

Good listen just to hear the King of Pop again. Some great material here and even though they put a lot of money behind this, there still feels like something's missing.

As mentioned by the first review, most of these songs should be considered "official mixes". The effort in this album seems to be pretty comparable to that of Blood on the Dance Floor. Although not a huge hit (compared to the likes of Bad or Dangerous), still a classic because of the "new" material (new stuff on BOTDF, unreleased tracks on this album). As a big Jackson fan, I had heard quite a few of these tracks when they were still considered demos and was quite pleased with the quality then. That being said, I think it is definitely worth spending a couple more bucks to get the demo forms just because that was what MJ last worked on. Although, keep in mind that they could have remained unreleased for reasons only Michael Jackson knew. No one will ever know if the released material truly lives up to the king of pop's standards, but it's better than nothing!

As many reviews have said XSCAPE is Vital to own. Make sure to get this Deluxe Edition. This is some of the most powerful vocals of his entire career. The Lyrics, Vocals, and the Demo's really made this album Incredible. The New 'Finished Tracks' should be viewed as Remixes at best that aren't necessarily bad but at the same time it's safe to say that the finished versions are not the work of MJ since he was not here to finish it or approve it himself. So take the first 8 trax for what it is, 8 remixes that actually become Great after a few listens because Michael's vocals really bring them to life. But the 8 Demo's are completely mind blowing on this!! Highly Recommend this album.

Michael Jackson is the greatest of all time and this album shows you just why, he was so great. Once you play Xscape you won't put it down. It's a must own album for anyone who enjoy real music....M.J. is still the King of Pop.

There are some really good songs on here. If you are a Michael Jackson fan, you should enjoy this.

I'm a big fan of Michael Jackson and grew up with his music. I bought the Deluxe Copy yesterday which also includes a DVD on the production of the Music and loved it and I feel that it's a great tribute to him and he would be proud of this Edition. His music will live on forever and he is sorely missed.

when i listen to the cd i love every song. i play it everyday in my car and home. this is the first cd that i have brought in a while where i can listen to every song. i appreciate the new productions but the original production is as good if not better.
