This game has such an amazing prequel to the story, and such a cool place to explore. It gives you a taste of what it is like in Tokyo. I would recommend this to anybody who likes fighting games or anime.

I hadn't really played this franchise at all before and wasn't sure what to expect but what I got was a Japanese GTA-esque (more Shenmue really) game that just knocks it out of the park on so many levels. Mini games galore.

This game is super interesting and fun. This is my first Yakuza game and now I'm hooked. I don't really feel the need for the "Buisness Edition" and the card holder, but I guess the game would still be around the same price.

The game follows the journey of a gangster as he is framed for a murder that he didn't commit. This is set in the background of 1980s Japan and provides a great look into a series that is already approaching it's sixth game.

Being a prequel in this long series, and with Yakuza 6 on the horizon, I wanted to jump in at the true beginning. I'm glad I did, because this series is something unique. With all of the style of a good crime drama mixed with absolute silliness in some of the side activities, as well as excellent localization work, this is a really good story-driven beat em up.

A lot to do and a great game for pretty low-cost game.

I’m not even done with it as we speak and I probably won’t for a while as the game is over 80 hours long including all the side missions. Really good storyline and cool environment

The release of this game is what sparked me to go back and play this series from the beginning (actually, before the beginning since Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the original series) on the PS4.

If you're new to the Yakuza series, this is the perfect place to start since it's a prequel. Tight design, lots to do, and a healthy dose of attitude combine to create one of the most unique experiences this generation.

Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the whole Yakuza series, but you wouldn't be faulted for playing it first. Hilarious, heart wrenching, and endlessly sincere, Yakuza 0 is a wonderful start to he franchise.

Yakuza 0 is one of the best games I've ever played. If you're new to the Yakuza series, definitely give this game a shot. 10/10

This is a fantastic glimpse into some of the stranger parts of Japanese culture mixed with a quality beat-em-up covered in quirky humor and a fairly solid story. Definitely worth a try if any of that interests you!
