This is one of the best games to play! Story was great, action is a bit repetitive but with different ways to switch it up, it was still fun till the end. Crazy side quests and mini games, this was a game worth full price. Note: stay away if you do not like Japanese or turned off by their culture. Everthing is japanese except the text. Voice acting is awesome too.

This is a must play for people who appreciate an excellent story and writing.

Didn't expect much when I first bought it. I thought I was going to spend 2~3 hours, then get bored. Turns out, I spent 40 hours in two weeks just to complete the story mission, and wanting to play more of it for other sections that I haven't finished. I like the story line, even though some may say this is not a very strong entry compare to other ones. That only make me want to play all the other ones. Battle feels great, the pace is good, and you can have variety of moves and styles. If you don't know yet, yakuza kiwami 1 and kiwami 2 will or is out. 3,4,5 are announced for a remake on PS4, and 6 is on PS4 already. Yakuza is a great entry point to get into the series.

Gta type of game with Japan settings. Great story and characters with fun combat. A bit on the slow pacing side of things though.

First time playing a game in the series, heard great things and didn't dissapoint. A great entry point into the series for sure.

Ordered the game online, turns out it is not the Business Edition as listed in "What is included" description. There is no stainless steel card holder or anything else as described, just the disc game, the rest were empty. The webpage for the product and images shown were false information and very deceiving for customers. I returned the game in stores and was promised that the right order will arrive on my doorstep in 2 days time. After waiting for a week, I went to the BestBuy store again to check with them and another customer service representative told me the order did not go through as it was a ghost order and all they could do is make a full refund for the item. As an Elite Plus customer, I must say I am rather disappointed with BestBuy. I haven't even got to play the game, I believe this game however, is a great installment to the series.
