I love the Yakuza series

However, the game feels weighed down by the sheer number of conspirators brought into the mix. The game stacks subplots on top of each other and has the player running around between set pieces that can feel random at first, and only later become clear.

Takes some getting used to

They changed the whole upgrade and combat system from previous Yakuza games. But, after some getting used to it. It all makes sense. This is just as goofy as all the other Yakuza games. The best change was the save anywhere option.
