This remake beats Yakuza Kiwami 1 out of the water. The new dragon engine is used with the game which makes it feel just as satisfying to play as Yakuza 6.

A fantastic way to revisit an older game. I hope Sega continues to bring the older Yakuza games to the current generation, and brings em here to the West.

The Yakuza series is amazing and this remaster is so great. It uses the same engine as Yakuza 6 and I think Judgement too.

Finally the ability to punch tigers in glorious HD. While you should certainly play Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza 0 before this, it's 100% awesome no matter what.

Had as much fun with the game as Yakuza 0. Great characters and interesting story and fun side quests. Combat is much more smoother compared to Yakuza 6.

Always love a Steelbook. Fun game. I would recommend.

Kiwami 2 is a notch above Kiwami with improved mechanics, and much more soothing story. I am really enjoying playing the game!

Its a dope game, it definitely is one of the finest games in the whole series. Great pickup for any price under $15.

Overall, an awesome game with great graphics and an in-depth combat system better than that of Yakuza 3 Game’s engine is awesome too, but it’s in 30 fps, not 60 like 0 and Kiwami However, the story is a bit less personal and a lot more crime-dramaesque Not my favorite of the series, but 100% worth it still

It's pretty much like Yakuza 6, but it is definitely 100% better than the original Yakuza 2. Play it for the story folks, play it for the story

Redone in the engine as 6 and 0. But with the same flavor. Missing some original mini-games with some new microtransanctions and 0's minigames.

What a great-looking remake of a classic game. Night and day compared to the original PS2 version. Enjoying playing through this right now.

Loved this after playing Zero, 6 and Kiwami. Plays like 6 (same engine). Tons of stuff to do, dozens of hours to enjoy. Recommended

A great way to catch up on the yakuza series along with the other Kiwami game in this gripping yet at times utterly ridiculous series.

Not my favorite in the series, but still an amazing game. This looks pretty next to my Yakuza 1 Steelbook on the ps4!

Excellent game! great part of the Yakuza story. Definitely get this if you want to collect the full Yakuza story.

This generation of games have been amazing both with new games, remakes, and remasters. Yakuza 2 is back with a fresh coat of paint and with similar aspects that made both 0 and Kiwami great as well. If you're a fan of Yakuza you shouldn't skip this one. Remember, this isn't GTA in Japan they're entirely different.

Awesome remastering of this classic game and the steelbook is just icing on the cake

if you haven't play yakuza i highly recomend to play it if you like games with beatemup style and good story.
