Yakuza Kiwami tells an engaging tale of Kiryu’s life after ten years in prison. All of it is set in a beautiful recreation of a vibrant Japanese city that is filled with things to do.

Great remaster to a great game. It continues off right after Yakuza 0. This remaster does the franchise justice.

This is a must have PS4 game. The game is fun, has a great story and the gameplay is great.

I think Yakuza Kiwami, and the original game in general, had one of the best Yakuza plots in the series, and that holds true even today. The sole focus on Kazuma as the protagonist makes for a more focused adventure than Yakuza 4 and 5, and it’s nice to see how Kazuma builds his reputation as the Dragon of Dojima with this game. I’m also a sucker for betrayal/revenge plots, and the original Yakuza has one of the best in all of video games.

Classic ps2 remastered for ps4 and boy is it awesome. This is a great game for newcomers of the franchise

Good game with strong Asia influences. It is a martial Arts RPG with action and a good story line.

I have always wanted to get into the Yakuza franchise and seeing this at my local store recently I had to grab it! With this remaster and the new Yakuza Zero now is a great time to get into the franchise. I have had some great fun playing this game. My brother and I had some great laughs watching each other play through with the various characters you meet throughout the story. I am excited to continue through the Yakuza franchise.

There's new minigames, but not as numerous as before. The addition of the Majima Everywhere system was very entertaining. Didn't have as much content as Yakuza 0, but since this is originally at a lower price, this game is still worth playing for any fans of the series.

This series has always been great. The over the top action is very arcade. Great story to get through.

Fun game to play whether or not you have played any of the previous Yakuza games. Visuals and details are great as well as the combat system. It's an overall solid game to play.

This is how a remake should be! They overhauled everything from the original yet kept everything the same. They added a few new things to the game which make it better in my opinion such as 3 extra fighting styles that you can swap on the fly. If you played the original and liked it (I did), you'll love this one (I do). If you've ever been interested in the Yakuza series, start here. It's a steal at only $30! Great job Sega!

This game isn't *that* good, but it is pretty cheap. You can beat it in about twenty hours or so. If you liked Yakuza 0 it's worth picking up for the price alone.

For those unfamiliar with the Yakuza franchise this release is a complete remake of the original game that was originally released on Playstation 2. If you are looking to get into the series but are worried about skipping to the soon to be released Yakuza 6 then you can start with this title and the recently released Yakuza 0 in order to get an understanding of the characters and what these games are all about.

I’m assuming it’s great. And if you were as addicted to Zero as I was, you probably shoudn’t think twice and just buy this game so that it’s ready for you when Zero is done.

The Yakuza series has always been a hidden gem of a series, and Yakuza Kiwami is a reimagining of the first game in the series for modern systems with modern designs. Whether you've played through the original or not, Yakuza Kiwami is worth a playthrough.

Part crime drama, part crazy fun stuff. This game takes through a serious crime drama while allowing you break off and do all kinds of silly mini games and side quests.

A great re-release of a classic game. Comes in a steelbook even though it's priced so low!
