This game is so awesome! I love Japanese culture, and this game captures the essence of it! It is a must have for all PS4 fans!

I didn't get to play Yakuza on the PS2 because I was in a coma at the time. I have recently within the past 3-4 started to rediscover all these great titles and am glad they are being re-released and the graphics updated. The story line is great but then again I love all things to do with the Mafia. I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

I have to admit I never played the first Yakuza game, so I can't be certain if it's as good as the recent ones have been. I assume it was, though. This version of the game is absolutely fantastic. It controls like the recent Yakuza Zero (also an amazing game), and overall it's just a blast to play. Highly recommended.

I saw someone streaming this and thought why not give it a try for $15. Easily worth that kind of money, I'm not a real big fan of beat-em-up type games but I have really enjoyed the story/characters/side quests. Very open areas to explore. And if you do like these kind of fighting games, you will like it even more.

Yakuza keeps going strong, I think that there are 6 or 7 in the series now.

I love the yakuza series for the action brawling and the story which can be serious and hilarious too.

SEGA has really hit it out of the park with the Yakuza series! The characters, gameplay, dialogue, and environment are amazing and really suck you in. The game is funny, fun, and exciting! Definitely worth picking up if you have not played Yakuza before!

If you ever want to the play the Yakuza series but never have the chance this is a must have along with the others. Although this is remastered is difficult to find the original ones from the PlayStation 2 unless you already own it and if you ever do find it it is expensive. I can't wait for Kiwami 2.

It's the remake of the original Yakuza. I've always thought of this series as a Shenmue successor with all it's mini-games and sheer amount of things you can interact with, albeit in a more limited space is excellent. The great characters and the story added to that and it's easy to get immersed into the game.

got it on holiday for$15 me and my brother both play and we love it tons of minigame more than they have in GTA5

This game really surprised me as it was my first experience w the series. I now plan on playing others in series

I love yakuza, i think this was amazing,it might be my goty but I love the series. so I'm not sure how someone new to the franchise would react to this game. but if you like the series or want to experience the first yakuza this is your best bet, but if your new to yakuza I'd recommend starting with yakuza 0.

My wife really likes the game. She likes the story and graphics. Says the play is smooth and fun.

After beating Yakuza 0 on the ps4... I'm looking forward to this one. BTW if you haven't picked up Yakuza 0... do yourself a favor and do so. I think of it as Japanese version of streets of rage meets sleeping dogs I say Japanese because the game is not english (subtitles) not because of the developers
