This is a remaster of the 1st Yakuza game and they completely revamped everything to make it accessible today. It's absolutely amazing but play Yakuza 0 first.

Picked this up as I never played them on PS1. Have played about two hours and the graphics are really good, gameplay wise, it plays like the last one that came out on ps4.

Let me be honest when i say i will never play this game and the only reason i bought it was to own the steelbook but from what my friends have told me its an amazing game

This is a remake of the yakuza game and the graphics is much better and everything about the game just feels better.Recommended if you are the fan if this yakuza series.

If you played Yakuza 0, you should definitely check out Kiwami. Same engine and gameplay. Continues Kiryu's saga. As usual. strong character development and story.

Great game, if you like the Yakuza series. For the price, you can'y go wrong.

This has been an awesome year for the return of the franchise to the US, more to come with Yakuza 6 next year and Yakuza Kiwami 2 down the line. Definitely worth $30.

I've always enjoyed Sega especially their Shenmue and Yakuza series. I played the original Yakuza on PS2 so I'm glad this game was able to have a remake. I enjoyed this game just as much as the original. Brought back a lot of memories.

These games aren't for everyone, but they are fun & employable. The game play is just like a lot of the other Yakuza games which is open world mindless fun.

This game needs to be on every PS4 owners shelf - If you're a fan of the Yakuza series then you'll definitely enjoy this game - The steelbook is also a nice addition

After experiencing the wonderful prequel Yakuza 0, i imagined it to be at the exact same level in every way, comes a little short, but that’s okay. Overall it still is an amazing game and the Yakuza series is becoming one of my favorites!

This is a great game for first timers of Yakuza franchise as well for people who play back in the day on ps2, the new engine looks great and plays really well too.

This game is a remake of Yakuza 1 with some influences from Yakuza 0. Compared to 0, there is less things to do. However, this is reflected in the lower initial price point for the game. I loved doing almost every single thing in this game.

The game is enjoyable but its a style that most may not like. I would recommend looking online for a video review of this game. I enjoyed the last few games so this was a for sure buy especially with a steelbook and the price of 15 bucks.

Yakuza Kiwami (Extreme) is a fantastic full HD remake of an already awesome game. Yakuza follows the story of a Yakuza who's fate lands him in the middle of a 10 billion yen mystery and leaves him with a little girl who's said to be worth 10 billion yen who is looking for her mother. Their fates entwine and they are led on an epic adventure & mystery together as they both search for the truth in Japan's underworld. New fighting mechanics over the original, fully re-done voice acting. It's awesome! at $30 it's a steal! If you liked the Shenmue series on the Dreamcast, you'll LOVE Yakuza!

A remake of the original Yakuza game, Kiwami is a great example of the unique flare and quirkiness that Japanese developers bring to their productions.

Very Similar to GTA V or Mafia III, Steelbook edition very recomended!

I love this game. It’s more like Streets of Rage than GTA. The steelbook is super cool too with its nice slipcover and Japanese tattoo designs on the back.

This is the first Yakuza game from PS2 that has been upgraded to 60fps and 1080p on the PS4. If you missed the first Yakuza game, then this is the title for you to play emd experience the rich and illustrious world of Yakuza.

Though it is not as full of content as Yakuza 0, Kiwami is a fantastic remaster of the first Yakuza game and a great re-entry point to the series (after 0).
