Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the first Yakuza game and is definitely worth checking out. I recommend starting with Yakuza 0.

Playing all of them and they haven’t disappoint me so far! game is amazing and remade from the ground up, and still live up to its ps2 legacy

This game has kept me entertained for hours and hours. The story is awesome and if you want to enjoy it even more play Yakuza 0 before you play this one.

Great remaster of the original Yakuza game. Must have for any fan of the series. Lots of things to do and will give you plenty of hours of entertainment.

I've been reading about Yakuza Kiwami vs zero. While I haven't played zero yet, Kiwami looks to me like a good place to start and it's fun to play.

Picked this up only because it was so cheap ($11 in a steelbook). I was pleasantly surprised to find that the game was also a lot of fun!

this is a descent game for its franchise, but not the best one.

It is excellent for people who like a fight game. It is a little receptive at times, but it has a lot of side stories. It is worth your time.

I'd recommend playing Yakuza 0 before this one, but this is just as good as a starting point for Sega's greatest series.

This was a phenomenal game for an incredibly cheap cost. For a westerner it was really interesting to have this Japan simulator. The world, while not as big as many AAA games today is highly detailed and provides a lot to do. I found that after finishing the grand main story, I spent most of my time taking dates to karaoke, racing box cars, and getting into all kinds of street fights. I would really recommend this to anyone looking for a good brawler or just someone who wants to visit Japan but is on a tight budget.

Having never played the original but loving the modern ones, I was excited when this was announced. Worth the buy. Came in a cool steel book too!!

Great remake of the first game in the series. The devs added new cutscenes to improve the story as well as added a new and improved combat system

I never got to play the original so it's great to have the chance to play it. I like yakuza 0 a little more but this is great as well.
