Great game and part of a large series of games. It's nice to have the whole set.

This is a good entry in the Yakuza series. One extra benefit is that they still come with the steelbook (despite getting it years after release. An added benefit it it has a free PS5 update.

Yakuza 7 is strayed away from the usual beat em up to a turn based rpg gameplay. To be honest, I like that change. This is a game that you don't need prior knowledge to the previous games, but it is welcomed if you do. I finished the game in maybe 70+ hours because there are tons of sidequests and minigames. Difficulty wise, it isn't really that hard. However in the very late chapters, there is somewhat a big level curve and you may have to grind.

Great turn based RPG. At times feels like an adult persona, even with social links. Grindy at times, but fun.

Love the change to a turned based JRPG combat. This is a great jumping in point to the series as a whole.

Yakuza franchise is the best of best, i love this series since it came out on ps2. Yakuza has been allways been an beat 'em up game but Like a Dragon is a turn base rpg. This game is awesome the change to turn base is great and still has all the crazyness and goofyness and the amazing story that the yakuza series allways has. One more thing,this game has a lot of things to do like side quests and mini games. I recommend this game.

Want a good time? Play this. Characters are super likeable and the turn based combat is actually very engaging.

Fun game. I take it in small doses, too much Yakuza can become a grind, especially now that it's in RPG-format. Still, you can expect your standard Yakuza fare; mini-games, hilarious sub-stories, convoluted organized crime conspiracies with twists and turns, dating, owning a business, etc. Surprisingly, the dub is great. I tend to play the series in its original language even if I have the option for a dub (as Judgement did) but Like A Dragon's dub is fun, campy, and totally lip-synced to the characters-- they're animated in English as well. It definitely makes me skip text a bit less compared to the old Yakuza games, and it helped deepen my sense of the characters. Something about having a 1:1 on the performance really was nice. I still sometimes switch it back and forth, mostly out of curiosity. Steel book is sweet.
