got it home it doesn't have keys could be a problem. also needs battery's took it back got a better one

solid option, some of the Bluetooth functions dont work how i would like them to but it is probably user error. Having a temp code for visitors is a very nice addition

The only downside you have to purchase the wifi smart module in order to use capabilities other than locking and unlocking while next to the lock.

Great little lock that unlocks when i walk up to my door. When i was buying it I thought I'd be able to unlock from anywhere but that is the upgraded model.

This was a gift for my daughter after I forgot to give her the spare key back. She loves it

If you want / need WiFi on your smart lock, go look somewhere else: seriously. This one keeps disconnecting / reconnecting many times during the day and the batteries won't last 1 month (4 x AA). On top of that, it will never, ever work as intended: trying to unlock via Alexa or Yale app always results in "Device unavailable" error. Worst thing is that I bought 4 of this locks, but can only leave 1 bad review: not fair.

This lock has been better than I expected. Install was straight forward, with it being a 1 for 1 swap with existing hardware. Quality of lock feels great, lock is secure, updated hardware on Lock 2 is a lot cleaner and nicer. The bluetooth access works well as expected on my iphone and apple watch. I also love being able to give access codes to family and being able to see a log of who enters our home. What pleasantly surprised me is that with Apple Homekit access you don't even need wifi add on module for remote access. I am still able to remotely lock and unlock from my iPhone away from home. An awesome savings hack if you don't want to spend the extra for wifi model.

I have been using Yale touch door locks for 10 years, and would like to warn you about this one which I have used for 6 months. The internal batteries died without any audio warnings leading up to it. It was the first time I tried using an external battery to try to charge it up. They designed the external face so thin, that there is not enough clearance to attach the battery. The battery prongs to the edge, is thicker than the distance between the door and the deadbolt battery prongs. Therefore, there was no way to get in and I was locked out of my house. I had to hire a locksmith to get me back inside, which cost much more than this deadbolt.

When my son moved into his condo, he needed to change the locks. Based on my experience with this line, I persuaded him to install one of these on each of his exterior doors. The process is simple and quick, and he couldn't be happier with the results.

Love it just one thing to note, even though they say its wifi you have to buy a seperate piece for the remote code changing function.

Works ok with app and HomeKit, but cannot use iPhone or Apple Watch Homkey functionality.

The technician was very timely, professional and efficient - he installed the lock in less than 30 minutes. He also gave good advice on the features and how to enhance the features through add-ons

Unit is completely dead in under a year (didnt last 10 months). It burns through batteries every few months and this time on replacing the batteries, it will not come back to life. Factory reset was useless. The most frustrating part is to get Geek Squad to look at it.. I HAVE TO TAKE IT STORE?? WHAT? Thats our front door lock, so now I have to leave my home unprotected. Whilst the product you sold me is taken out of the door. USELESS Product and even worse Service from Best Buy. They wanted to charge me to get something fixed thats already covered! Cancelling Tech service immediately.

Bad. Disconnects constantly. Cheaper than other competitors though.

Works as needed not tech savvy so needed help the best thing to do is get someone who is to install it

I’ve been on one too many emotional roller coasters with smart locks. This one is the right amount of smarts while not over promising and under delivering. This lock won’t change my life but it also won’t make me hate my life.
