This lock is wonderful. It was wasy to install and works like a charm. I will be adding many more yale locks to my home. Absolutely love the HomeKit intefration and bedt of all the HomeKey capabilities. Just tap your iPhone or AppleWatch on the lock and it opens instantly for you.

Overall I’ve been pleased with this product. Does everything it says it does. Only knock is this goes through batteries pretty quickly. It takes 4 AA batteries and I had to change them out after about 3 months of use. I bought this product since it pairs to Apple HomeKit and that feature works well. You can add a “key” to your Apple Wallet, but I end up just using the code 99% of the time.

We switched out our older Yale/nest smart lock for this one and haven’t looked back. It’s a breeze to set up and operate and the mobile wallet key on your phone or watch is really handy. None of the issues that plagued us with our older model have shown up here. It’s also a good bit smaller than our old lock which has been nice.

I purchased this smart lock to replace my 10+ year old Schlage smart lock when it stopped working with Apple Home after the most recent Apple update. According to the manufacturer, and several reviews I consulted, The Yale Assure Lock 2 smart lock was supported with Apple Homekit. I was able to get the lock installed and working with the Yale app. I was unable to install the Door Sense functionality installed which indicates the open/close state of the door. But my major issue is that I could not get the lock to work with Apple Home which is the reason I purchased it. If you are content to use it only with the Yale app, it is a great smart lock I am very disappointed in the integration with Apple Home, and will be returning the lock.

I didn't like the sensibility of the screen and the battery consume is kind of high

Overall the product is great! Apple Home Key is a huge plus and one of the main reasons I purchased this product. My only complaint is the wifi/bluetooth connection, very delayed in comparison to my other locks that run off of Matter over Thread. I hope Yale comes out with the Matter smart module soon. A great alternative is the Level Lock Plus that can be upgraded to Matter over Thread capability through a firmware update.
