**Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus with Apple HomeKey**
The Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus with Apple HomeKey is a game-changer for home security. Its sleek design looks fantastic on my door, and the build quality is top-notch. Installation was a breeze with clear instructions, even for someone like me who's not particularly handy.
The standout feature is definitely the Apple HomeKey integration. Being able to unlock my door with just a tap of my iPhone or Apple Watch is incredibly convenient. The lock also supports PIN codes and the Yale Access app, offering multiple ways to secure and access my home.
The smart home integration with Apple HomeKit is seamless. The battery life is also impressive.
Overall, the Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus is worth every penny for the peace of mind and convenience it offers. Highly recommend!

The Yale Assure Lock 2 has quickly become my favorite electronic lock, and for good reason. This isn’t just a functional piece of hardware—it’s a beautifully designed, well-crafted addition to any home. The build quality is top-notch, and its quiet operation is a refreshing change from the clunky, noisy locks I’ve tried in the past. Visually, it’s a stunner, blending modern aesthetics with practical design.
What sets this lock apart is its seamless integration with Apple HomeKit. The Apple Watch integration is a standout feature, delivering on the promise of truly keyless and passwordless entry. Just a tap on my wrist, and I’m in—no fumbling for keys or typing codes. It’s convenience at its finest.
If you’re in the Apple ecosystem and looking for a smart lock that combines style, silence, and stellar performance, the Yale Assure Lock 2 is tough to beat. Highly recommended!

We switched out our older Yale/nest smart lock for this one and haven’t looked back. It’s a breeze to set up and operate and the mobile wallet key on your phone or watch is really handy. None of the issues that plagued us with our older model have shown up here. It’s also a good bit smaller than our old lock which has been nice.

Overall the product is great! Apple Home Key is a huge plus and one of the main reasons I purchased this product. My only complaint is the wifi/bluetooth connection, very delayed in comparison to my other locks that run off of Matter over Thread. I hope Yale comes out with the Matter smart module soon. A great alternative is the Level Lock Plus that can be upgraded to Matter over Thread capability through a firmware update.

My 4th Yale Assure because they are awesome and the app is amazing. I prefer no key for higher security. Easy to instal and for once instructions that are detailed and accurate.

Bought this for a short term rental so I could set new codes and what not from out of town. Setup was relatively easy. I’m able to set new codes and how long they are valid. I can lock and unlock the door remotely. I also get alerts when the door is open/shut and locked/unlocked.

Hardware wise, the assure lock 2 is hard to beat. It is beautifully crafted, durable and slick. I particularly like the silver finish. However, this is not a "lock", it is a *smart lock*, and it fails so hard at that. The app is horrendous, if I had to guess it hasn't been changed in 4 years. Basic features you assume are implied with "smart" are no where to be seen. What a pity! They distanced themselves ahead of the market with the hardware years back, but all the other players caught up some time ago. Yale desperately needs to re-approach implementation, backed/integration and software on a major scale for this lock to be, once again, a good option.

Works much better than my last lock. Couldn’t ask for anything easier to use. Installation was a little difficult - had to chisel out some wood in the door but it’s been great (inc the battery life)

I mostly purchased this lock for more convenience. It was easy to install with minor adjustments to our door. We have a Smart Apple Home so HomeKit is used regularly. The locks fits right in. Its simple to use for kids, dog sitter, and cleaning lady.

I loved it! Took me a bit to figure out if I really needed the WiFi version—turns out, nope! With Apple HomeKit, the Bluetooth version works like a charm. Unlocked it from 90 miles away! No more juggling keys ever again.
