can open and close door by asking siri with phone in my pocket! see if it is open or closed from anywhere.and let someone in. All i could ask for.I am upset that BB had it for sale $50 off just after their 15 day price adjustment period expired. since everybody charges the same price,I would buy where the adjust window is more generous!

So far (about a year) it has been reliable. Only had to change batteries once and very recently. Patience needed for HomeKit integration, but it works.

Connected to my Apple TV home hub, I can control it with Siri, like 80% of the time. Sometimes it just doesn't register it and Siri can't find the door. When it works, it's like magic.

They sold this item in both Apple Store and Best Buy. I had the assumption that this item would have more functionality being that it was the only smart lock sold at Apple but... Best Buy actually had a better price + warranty so... I got it at BB. I installed the lock, hooked it up to my phone.... unfortunately its limited to only bluetooth. You can't check to see if its locked while you're out and about, nor unlock it through your phone to let someone while away although I'm pretty sure it says you can on the box.

I bought this lock in and had no issues installing it and setting up the key pad and it worked great except for the app

The August mobile card makes it compatible with HomeKit and google. It’s cheaper to buy them together than separately because the August module costs $80 by itself. I bought two of these locks and they look great and work perfectly.

...i'm sure this would have been a great product HOWEVER I made sure to mention to the BB staff that I am currently operating a August lock from my SAMSUNG S8 and Alexa and that I wanted similar controls but a pin pad instead of key. Turns out this isn't compatible with Android or Alexa.

I love this lock. Bluetooth and Wifi make it integrate with my HomeKit smart home stuff without any fuss. I have "actions" programmed to lock and unlock at different times of the day and it's pretty awesome.

I don’t like that you have to place your hand over the keypad to get it to light up to put code in.

Can lock and unlock remotely. Kids have PIN numbers and can lock unlock from phones. You can add and delete PIN numbers as needed. Just touch lock and it locks. Would definitely recommend!!

Like the subject says, Beautiful lock, great technology . I like the technology of August but have not been a fan of their aesthetics. This is the best of both worlds.

I thought home smart devices would be hard to install and use but this was pretty simple

I have an august lock on the front door, that just attaches to the deadbolt and while that is decent this is so much better as it replaces the lock and you can still use the app to open the door.
