Often Unresponsive

This is probably because it is using bluetooth and that is causing it to have range/communication issues. You will not be able to open the lock remotely because of these issues.

WORST LOCK EVER. LOCKED OUT!

Horrible don’t buy

Decent touchscreen lock, but non-existent app func

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It does work ok with HomeKit, but the app, which hasn’t been updated in more than a year, no longer is able to make any changes to the device settings. You cannot add pin codes, set auto relocks, or adjust any of its many settings EXCEPT THROUGH A TERRIBLE menu system accessed via the keypad. Yale support just says “it’s broken, and we can’t help you” when contacted. Get a smart lock from someone who cares about their customer, not from Yale.

Do not buy lasted 18 months

No warranty after a year. Also had to change module after 2 months. A waste of money. Do not buy. Hard to set up. I am really sad Yale would sell this lock. I expected more.

They advised the app is not working. Advised it had not been working for several days and could provide no time frame for it to be working. So the statement on the box “Unlock your door with your iPhone” is incorrect. Their app does. Ot it work. They advised that Best Buy should be called for the warranty work. Will avoid a Yale brand lock the next time. False advertising on the part of Yale.
