The lock works fine. I've only used the keypad feature so far. The lock looks way too large for the door as it sticks out on both sides. Add the sensor appearance on the inside and it looks 'like an afterthought' as to how the door looked before it was installed. The installer had issues getting it to work. He said he had installed thousands, but this encounter had him stumped. He called Yale. They guided him through the setup and it worked then. Something to do with IOS updates and compatible Yale software.

Easy to install & use for adults and kids. Secure. Even has key option for those not tech-savy. Just a bit of a pain activate screen to punch in code - you have to tap it pretty hard or press hand onto screen.

Looks great on the door. The small rubber mat on this lock makes sure there aren’t marks on my painted door and decrease air flow from the outside. The set-up process to connect to WiFi and to the august app was confusing. It didn’t work a couple of times. I am also a little disappointed I don’t have an option to set a time when the door will auto lock itself. The only option is to lock all the time automatically. I would prefer to set a time when the door will lock if someone forgets to. Say at 10 pm. I am Not sure the door closed sensor will work on my frame. My frame has trim that offsets from the lock.

Very easy to install the lock. But it took almost 2 hour to connect to August app. Love the features of auto-lock and auto-unlock, open and close the lock remotely. Also love the activity feature to show whose open/close the door.

The lock was really easy to install and I replaced my existing deadbolt with ease. The wifi and bluetooth combo is a great touch, but sometimes the lock doesn't unlock when we approach the door and we have to put in the code. I am also not a fan of the fingerprints on the keypad, it would be nice if, like other lock, we had to press 2 random numbers before entering the code. But this is me being very nitpicky. This is a great lock....expensive...but it's worth the investment in my opinion.

Easy to use and provideS me with peace of mind. I use the auto lock feature all the time. The Auto Unlock doesn’t always work. Easy to give codes and lock/unlock remotely when needed.

Installation was fairly straightforward and simple. Waking the lock up is a little off sometimes but overall the lock is great. Love the fact I can unlock with my phone from anywhere or set temp codes to my parents if they wanna come in while I'm not home.

I've had this lock for a month now and since setup & installation, there have been no issues. My only issue with this product is that the messaging on setup, which app to use, etc. is VERY clunky, and disorganized. I was quite surprised by this compared with the dozens of other smart home products I've set up in the past few years - especially considering the prominence and "high-end" nature of Yale as a company. Certainly leaves a lot to be desired. Beyond that, the physical installation was super easy and once I got the lock dialed in on my smartphone, I haven't experienced a single issue.

The Yale Assure Lock is amazing!!! It was very easy to install. Took me maybe 25 minutes replacing with existing hardware that I had. The set up was super easy. I love the fact that you can control the codes. I also love the fact that I can unlock with my AppleWatch and iPhone. I don't use the bluetooth proximity as I have concerns about walking by and it unlocking the door while I'm inside. My room is also above my front door so it would be too close. It seems very well made and I have not had any issues with it. The touch screen is clear and easy to work with. Now, I no longer have to fumble with my keys to open when I have groceries or even have to care my keys when I go jogging! Huge plus! I also love the fact that I can give code to someone temporarily like my neighbors while I'm out of town or to my cleaners. Highly recommend!

I have a few other August door locks but this adds the keypad as an extra option. The door lock works with August's app and also integrate's simply with Apple's Homekit so you can use Siri and tie it together with all your other smart devices.

Solid lock. Like the ability to have multiple codes to lock/unlock the door. Not clear how the wifi feature works - was not explained in the instructions.

Excellent addition to a smart home. The ability to add temporary guests with their own code is a huge bonus too! Love it.

I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. I got a new front door ordered so I had plenty of time to research the differences of the smart locks on the market before installation. I landed on this one, and am glad I did. The Auto Unlock via Bluetooth is game changing. People that have reviews that they couldn’t program probably aren’t great at following instructions. I installed it exactly the way the instructions stated, and it connected on the first try. Make sure you have a power outlet by the door. I am lucky and have one a few feet away. I think it’s the best on the market at it’s price point with its features.

I love this lock and plan to buy 2 more. It very easy to use and works like a champ. Easy to install the color matches my door. I have no worries of the brake inn's the lock is very secure.

Great lock! We installed it ourselves and it works really well. Easy installation and it is very user friendly. Best Buy personnel were very helpful with the criteria we needed gir purchase.

This is a great lock. Easy to install. Works with Alexa. Best thing, for me, is it Auto Unlock’s (when I have my phone) when I pull into my driveway. So I don’t have to fumble with keys. I love it!!!!

Works great! Set it up with no problems. Can use Alexa, or the app, to lock unlock door. Use a 6 digit code to unlock. Door will auto lock if knob is wiggled.

Works well. I like the auto lock and door open alerts. Kids like to use the keypad to get in. Lock was easy to install and configure.

This is a great smart lock, but it does have its issues, such as app connectivity issues. But we've notice that the issues resolve themselves. There was a period where the lock died soon after the batteries were installed, but we haven't had the issue after removing and placing them back. The auto-unlock feature works 85% of the time. Sometimes it misses when I arrive home, but inputting the lock code isn't that big of deal.

Got the one with the key to have the backup if ever needed. It helps to watch the a You Tube video to prep for installation. Hardware seems decent in quality and easy to install. The programming is mostly easy as well. The only issue is with the August Smart that comes with it. It’s basically a WiFi signal extender. It is easy to setup but the signal test at the end of the process shows that it failed. However, everything seems to work fine even when I’m miles away. Someday I will call Technical Support but I want to try it for a few weeks to identify any other bugs.
