Bought this for my Airbnb that is 2 hours away and it works great using my mobile phone. I love not having to hassle with keys.

Overall it’s a good product. It does take a little bit of time to calibrate so you can open and specially close it with the app. If it doesn’t line up perfectly it will give an indication it’s open when it really it’s locked. The sensor for the door it’s good, no issues at all. Average ability required to install. Some steps it’s useful to have an extra pair of hands to hold things.

Easy to install, and fits most standard keyhole openings. Wifi enabled and can be operated via app. This is a peace of mind product especially if you have kids that accidentally lock or unlock the door and forgets to carry the keys. Bought it on sale. One less star because touch screen is not completely fingerprint resistance but it does a fair job.

Easy to set-up. Now we can check whether we have locked it or not. It can automatically lock itself. The software the manual suggested downloading to our smartphone seems to be iffy at times but we found other suggestions in the internet that seems to be more stable. I also wish there is a cover for the keyhole so it is more protected from the elements.

Great lock and easy to install. Solid feel too. The connection to wifi and remote access is contingent on installing the app for a phone which, unfortunately, my old iPhone doesn't support. That means I wait to replace my phone to get that feature set unlocked but I like the product already for what is available and the install ease.

The Yale Smart Lock is amazing! When you first take a look at the all the contents inside the box, it can be a little overwhelming, but rest assured they have a wonderful app that will guid you through the set up and installation step by step. It’s called the Bilt app, and this app is really cool. It contains an interactive 3d video, which you can zoom in, rotate and view all angles of the product, so you don’t miss a thing. It makes for installing the lock, a snap. Once you get the lock installed and registered through the app, it works great. It comes with a sensor that tracks when you or someone else has opened the door and will give you a notification. The sensor also lets you know if you forgot to close or lock your door, which is a great security feature. There is also another great feature called, the auto unlock. This handy feature will automatically unlock the door for you when you get in range of the door. All this is done with the help of the handy app that you download. Of corse, you can still use just the touchscreen keypad by itself if you don’t want to download the app. The touchscreen keypad works very good too. It never missed an input, and is very responsive. The lock requires 4 aa batteries for power, so theres no need to have to hardwire anything. The batteries are easy to access when replacement is needed, and they can only be accessed from the inside so not just anyone can come up and remove the batteries. The lock also has a key entry incase you forgot your code or want to give guests a way in, and don’t want to give out your code. Overall, I am very impressed with the Yale Assure Lock. It has every feature you can hope for in a smart lock, plus some. It looks very classy, and is made of high quality parts. The app gives you a plethora of features, and reassures you that your house is locked and safe. One last thing that I forgot to mention, is that there is an auto lock feature that you can turn on, in case you forget to lock your door, it will automatically always lock it for you. With all this in mind, I would definitely recommend this lock to anyone looking for a smart lock.

We've been making our home more "Smart", this Yale electronic deadbolt ices the cake. We used the door jamb disk because it would be hidden. We have had no issues after the initial setup. Make sure software and app is up to date. We absolutely love this lock. The auto unlock feature when your phone is near is next level. Needless to say this is a big hit at my house! My 65 year old mother even had to go get one!!

This is a good device, setup was somewhat easy, the only problem was with the up which is not very user friendly and trying to add to home kit took so long, instructions are not clear enough. Overall, the device is good, looks great on our door and it has been holding good with the weather changes and rain

I've owned and installed quite a few smart locks and this one is no different in ease of installation or programming, it's quite simple. Fit and finish is real nice as well as the app and touch screen. I did have to reset the wifi module a few times to get it to work properly but that was it. Great app usage for multiple site locations, better than other companies so far. Nice quality lock that should last a long time.

This lock performs great! I've never had an issue with it. It's definitely worth the money. I can remotely unlock the door to let in contractors and set temporary passcodes for recurring workers. I love not having to carry a key. It's perfect for my 8 yr when he wants to play outside with friends. I also get alerts to the phone if the door is left unlocked and I can lock it from the phone.

The Yale smart lock is a solid smart lock. The auto lock feature is great and I really love having the option to use a traditional key. The one complaint I have is the connection will drop and the Auto Unlock won’t work since it doesn’t know you’re in the area. Hopefully a firmware update will fix that. I’ve had to reset the device several times due to the loss of connection.

I replaced my regular bolt with this and linked it to my Ecobee 4 thermostat w/ built in Alexa and Samsung Smartthings hub..very simple to install and as long as you follow the simple instructions and make the bolt hole big enough for it to open and close smoothly in low power mode the batteries last forever; My favorite part is linking this into the Smartthings hub so the door will lock when I leave WiFi range and Unlock when I'm walking up to the door; I rarely even touch the keypad. Awesome lock.

I’ve always wanted a smart lock and the reviews from multiple sites had this lock in the top 5 at least ranked number 2 or 3. It was so easy to install and the app is amazing. I can see who enters their code and what they’ve done unlocked or unlocked. I can see when I added a coded and who I assigned it too; the app even comes up with codes for people you create or you can create your own for them as well. I would highly recommend this to protect your home.

This lock is great. It was easy to install and it works well. The keypad is a little hard to press at times but overall I like this lock and would buy another one. I also love the WiFi connect ability. You can lock unlock or see the status of your lock from around your Wifi strength while also from around the world with the app. Get this one if you are wondering.

The lock was easy to install, however the instructions that came with it made it difficult to set up the wifi connection for it, I had to download like 3 apps to get it to work and found almost no support in pairing the devices, they need to better on tech support and instructions but besides that its well made and does what it's supposed to
