Very easy to use. Love the fact that it automatically locks when you close the door

We had been looking for a Smart Lock for some time. We have been converting all our home lights, outlets, alarms, etc. to a "Smart System". We wanted something that was easy to understand and compatible to Google. This took about 15 minutes to install and I can lock, unlock from an app on my Iphone. And the style complements the new entry door lock we put on the home. Great product.

This item is exactly what I was expecting. The instructions were easy to follow to install the device on the door. I did encounter a “jamming” issue with the deadbolt which was because the deadbolt hole in the door frame was not deep enough. That was a quick and easy fix though by drilling a tiny bit deeper hole. The device connects easily to the August app and the app is very easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend.

This lock works perfectly and provides the carefree feeling that we have when leaving the house. Readily available through our cellphone, instantaneous notifications of access and the ability to change the access codes on the fly made this the perfect home security device. Your safety and that of your family are not optional. This purchase was the right choice.

Quality on point, the touchscreen is amazing, but the app is trash... i couldnt connect it to my phone at all and what was worse is that i tried calling customer support of yale and it was no help at all figuring out the app. The Wifi module just wouldnt connect for me.,..

Deadbolt lock stopped working and upgraded to this digital lock after reviewing many reviews. I am very pleased with the choice. Installation was easy. Working as advertised and it looks good, matching original door handle. Loving the convenience of remotely locking and confidence of knowing door is locked. It is expensive for just a door lock, but the product is solid.

Good and safety option for home just need internet

Yale did it right they have a good looking functional Smart Lock. Using the app you can use via Bluetooth and WiFi. Easy to install easy to manage and gives you the ability to permit people you want to have access without needing a key. It lets you know who unlocks and or locks your door. Lots of really good features and has a sound platform that has not wavered once!

Installed and loving the ease of use and quality of this dead bolt

It was a bit of a pain to get it installed, partly because I have an older house and had to drill a bigger hole for the deadlock, but also because the setup process in the Yale Access app could use some TLC. You're first prompted for a QR code, which I could not find anywhere on the packing or lock itself (inside or out). Instead, you can enter a serial number, however, the only number listed in several places inside the lock and on the packaging is 11 digits instead of the required 10 and the app kept saying to enter a valid serial number (FYI, once I got everything set up and I could view the serial number inside the app in the lock device settings, the number listed there is nothing like the number I mentioned previously and is listed nowhere on the packaging or lock that I could find). I was finally able to add the lock by choosing it from the product list, although even that wasn't super clear since it didn't actually list the model number but the product family for the lock. Anyway, I've only had it installed for a few days now and so far everything is working well after I got past the installation issues.

Amazing lock. Best of all worlds. Yale quality and August brains. Have a few random issues where the lock doesn’t seem to talk to the bridge, and the HomeKit QR code it came with never worked. Looked like lock may have been repackaged and sold to us as new so HomeKit code was already used and invalid. Who knows

I was concerned able the install but, the instructions were easy to follow. The works fine. There is a magnet that should be installed in the door casing. I not not want to drill a hole so I didn't use it. You can program the lock to not look for it. The down side of doing this is the door can auto lock in while it is open. Then bang up the trim when you close the door.

So far so good! Love the security code per guest. Easy to lock from outside. Can’t complain.

It was not difficult replacing my old deadbolt with this new lock. Immediately came on and started working. Had a little trouble connecting it with the August App at first. Couple of days later app started working correctly on my phone and I was able to change settings on lock. Not sure if it was the app or on my end, Overall satisfied with this lock.

I love the feature when it automatically opens the door when I arrive home. You can use physical key, key code to open door as well as from your phone. Lots of other features like setting individual key codes for each family member or temporary key codes for visitors. Very convenient no need to carry keys around. Get alerts on your phone who opened the door.
