I upgraded from the Kwikset 916 (2016) to this. Amazing! Definitely worth it. Works with SmartThings (w/o using the z-wave module)as well as the August standalone app. I prefer this model with the “key hole” just in case batteries die or there is a glitch in the matrix I can still get in the house. Easy to install, took all of 15mins if that. I would Highly recommend this lock.

I installed this morning and it was straight forward. However, you have to install the bridge and the door lock in the app. I didn’t see that anywhere in the directions. Without adding the bridge it doesn’t connect to the internet, Alexa, google... It took a few hours to figure out, but it seems to work well now.

Feature wise this is doorlock is awesome. however battery life isnt near whats stated on the box or in ads. its fustrating trying to figure out whats causing so much battery drain. to date is because the door lock isnt perfectly, i mean perfectly aligned with the doorframe.

Good product, way better than the Kwikset Primis!! The app get updated a lot which makes the lock work properly, unlike the Kwikset locks. It’s quiet, fast and super easy to install. Love this lock, the only knock I have against it, is that they have two apps that can be used which makes it confusing on what app you’re supposed to use. Overall good product!

This lock is doing its job well. There were some issues with the installation involving the wifi feature. Had to call support and spent quite some time talking to them until the issue was resolved. Overall I am happy with the product.

I purchased two of these locks for the front and side doors of an elderly family member at a different location. The system informs me when the door is locked, unclocked, open, closed, or left ajar. I can give different codes to healthcare workers and other family members. Fairly easy to install.

This lock is awesome. I love the keyless access with the flexibility of having a key as well. I assign temporary and permanent codes for any and everyone that needs to come over and the auto lock and unlock function is great. I had the WiFi adapter stop working and was replaced by the company within 2 days. Their customer service is top notch and the product is as well.

Not knowing much about these I bought this one because it still allowed use of a traditional key if the unit died. Installation is no more difficult than a regular lock. The unit talks you through the electronic portion of the setup. The only thing I haven't done yet is set it up on the wi-fi. So this means no advanced features like tracking it on my phone or opening remotely. That is coming soon.

Easy install and setup with this lock. Love the fact that I can get an alert every time the door has been locked and unlocked and by who. My only complaint is that the directions for the door sensor say to use a 5/8 spade bit, which I did but this made the hole to big and I had to wrap tape around the sensor to make it fit snuggly enough to not fall out.

This is a great lock. When I purchased it I didn’t realize that my door had a smaller hole than what was required. This ended up not being a problem. The installation of the lock and programming was simple. I have another brand of keyless entry lock and that programming was a nightmare. I would highly recommend this lock.

Easy to install. Not too loud. Works pretty well. Sleek looking.

I love this lock, but it runs out of battery too quickly. I think it lasts for about a month before I have to chang them out of again. I don't regret my purchase though. I definitely would buy it again.

Where has this thing been all of my life. I had no idea on how inconvenient keys actually were until I bought this item. I admit, the batteries that comes with it doesn't last long, maybe 2 months or so, but still, its a wonderful product when it comes to adding it to your list of smarthome devices.

Locks are nice. The app and set up are not great. Get the correct app as there are a few on the store and a few fake ones. You also can’t share a user between locks so you have to make duplicates that show up in the app and can be confusing

When it works this lock is awesome. I can give it seperate codes for people to get in. It auto locks so if my 3 year old closes the door and doesn't lock it, it will lock and keep my 1yr old from running out the door. I auto unlocks when I am walking up, which is nice when I am carrying groceries Sadly though I have to constantly restart and recalibrate the lock, otherwise none of the features except the pins work. I bought rechargeable batteries because it seems like the batteries were going dead about once a month. There are so many great features on this lock and if they work consistently I would give it 5 stars

Before you get a smart lock, make sure your door closes with ease. Or your have to remove the plate on the door frame and shave a little off because this will make the lock jam. Anyway I love the August interface, super easy to install (at least for a millennial). Now I can let the cleaning crew and guests in without stressing. This in combo with the ring! Security made simple.

I Love this Wi-Fi Lock. The look of this on my door looks like the jewelry on the door and is a complementary addition to my Alexa smart home. I can actually unlock my door when I pull up in the driveway or punch the code in the key pad. It’s awesome I just love it!

Easy to install and connect to my network, complicated rekey to match my standard locks but worth it. Wish it would lock/unlock by bluetooth proximity rather than current method so if I step out for a moment it would also unlock rather than if I have left the neighborhood instead. Love the color and matches the Yale Navis door handle too!
